That may very well be true but I’m smart enough to not defend pedophiles, rapists and murderers on a public forum.
Then again it’s easy as I don’t justify those behaviors period. You, on the other hand, publically defend vile behaviors because you personally condone them. All it takes for you to accept barbarity is approval from the false prophet demon you idolize.
Muslims have no choice but to approve of anything their demonic prophet did. This is another example of their duplicity. They can’t say that back then it was normal to have child brides but now we know better. That would imply knowing better than the false prophet. What the Koran said then, applies now.
The really weird thing about this defense is that nine year old girls just aren’t sexually attractive. Even if we believe that the girl actually could consent and legitimately wanted to have sex with Muhammed and it actually made her happy, it’s still disgusting. The guy was a sick pervert. Morality completely aside, it’s gross. Like if Muhammed bathed in shit, there isn’t really a moral problem with that. But that would still make him a filthy weirdo.
(I’m not saying there isn’t a moral problem with sex with a nine-year old. I’m pointing out that it’s also just gross.)
I disagree . How is bringing attention to the serious problems within Islam damaging the public? The reputation of Islam might be damaged, but the ‘‘public’’ is better off for it.
Let’s say BMW released a new model, let’s call it the ‘‘Akbar’’. Now let’s imgine lots of people buy the BMW Akbar, they think it’s great, BMW is making a killing with this model. So far, so good.
Now let’s say this model has some problems with the engine. Some of them are blowing up randomly, killing the driver, passengers, everyone around. What would you think it’s best, to try to reach out to these BMW Akbar owners individually, one by one, or put the information out there, to try and save as many people as possible, which includes not only the Akbar owners but also the innocent people out there who don’t have anything to do with that car and just want to live peaceful lives without running the risk of being blown up by the Akbar?
Sure it might damage BMW reputation, but the ‘‘public’’ is better off for it.
How old was he? I believe he was 54 when he consumated the marriage, no? But even if he was like 44, that’s old enough to be the grandfather of a 9 year old. It was actually common to be a grandfather at that age back then.
Ok, I think this is the problem right here.
You guys believe that even the slightest critic against Islam or Muhammed, however justified (by current moral standards - slavery, sexual or otherwise, murder, etc) will land you in hell.
That’s why you said that you believe that the Muslim that was pointing out some of the things that are wrong in Islam will EVENTUALLY make it to heaven but it might take a long time. He criticized Islam, so he will pay for it.
Would you say my conclusion is right? You guys think that not adhering 100% to a text written 1400 years ago will have you burn for eternity.
Your question to @jshaving seems to indicate that you might have moral doubts about some issues but, since your ‘‘ass is on the line’’, you chose the words of Mohamed, despite what your moral compass might tell you.
I think it’s more that there isn’t a clear point in his posts. Women also use too many words when they talk but if (IF) you pay attention long enough they eventually get to the point.
With him, either he talks alot without saying much or it just goes right above my head. @unreal24278 is long winded as fuck, but I get him just fine.
I would take back my words. I am a flawed human, and believe in Christianity. I wouldn’t leave the faith instead of admitting I was wrong.
If someone can prove that Jesus was a pedophile, I would probably leave. But they can’t. And we know Muhammad was. So there’s no reason for me to take back my words or leave my faith.
And I don’t see what’s so crazy about him being old enough to be a grandfather. My father is 43 - very much middle aged, not elderly, and is a grandfather to my 3 year old son. That’s not unusual at all, and even less so in the past.
Religious fundamentalism/literalism produces some fairly unpalletable people IMO. folks who use religious texts as parables, and religious teachings as general guides for living life are typically pretty good people, IME.
What does this have to do with boogeymaning Democrats again?
Meta/Facebook’s “poll”, which has a gazillion data points and algorithms normie pollsters can only dream about, says that the Republicans are going to be in power after November. Bro’ science.
Whiny lefties, formerly known as the Democratic Party, are missing the point, as usual.
Khadija (ra), Muhammads (saw) first wife had passed away before he (saw) married Sawda (ra).
Next was Aisha (ra).
I believe 8 total but I’m not sure if any died between
Yes, Islam doesn’t change. It’s wide though, different things can be preferred or emphasized according to circumstances.
Her father is considered the best man ever after the Prophets. Muhammad (saw) said he would have taken him as his best friend, but a person can only have one best friend and he had been offered that by Allah.
I don’t recall ever hearing of Aisha (ra) being gifted to Muhammad (saw)
Now if you don’t mind - I am curious what Jewish law says and has said about the minimum age for a woman to marry.
Nope.
You just did a few hours ago.
Man
Admit your dimwittedness and quit playing
Lets see. Pretending to doubt your dimwittedness is lie number … 14 I think. You have defended rapists and murderers on this forum - lies number 15 and 16.
I do not defend or condone vile behaviors, lies number 17, 18.
barbarity lie number 19
false prophet demon lie 20
You are severely sick. For the fourth time - are you Christian?
For the second time - are you Islamophobic?
For the second time - are you in a groomer gang?
You’ve not quoted a defense. Zecarlo was talking gibberish
Would you say all of that if the people in question were Jewish? Are you Christian?
Of course you disagree. Are you Muslim? I don’t believe Islam to be damaged or to need fixing.
People are damaged and need fixing, not Islam.
I asked two questions that had relevance. Your interpretations of my intents are yours.
No, you have not understood me. I am not sure if he thought he was criticizing Islam or not.
If Muhammad (saw) was a pedophile, the polytheistic Quraysh would have had a field day with it. They didn’t.
I am not familiar with Jewish tradition, but there is a passage in the Old Testament that shades some light to the minimum age for marriage. It is found in the Book of Ruth.
Ruth 1:9, “The Lord grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept. 10 And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people. 11 And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands? 12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons; 13 Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the Lord is gone out against me.”
Here Naomi is asking her daughters-in-law if they would wait for what would be highly unlikely future sons of Naomi to become “grown” to, obviously wed them. A reasonable person would take “grown” to be of reproductive capability age.
Likewise, it is reasonable that the minimum age of a wife would be a girl who has become of reproductive age. There is a consistent theme of the Bible that marriage leads to the blessing of children, hence reproductive age of both male and female is a reasonable expectation.
Ok. I sometimes feel like you don’t like to give out definite answers, so my interpretation might not always be the most accurate. Unless this is deliberate, perhaps you could try to be a little more straightforward?
I thank you for responding anyway.
One more question:
‘'they enjoy this world and we the Hereafter’’
Is it possible for someone who doesn’t follow Islam to be allowed into Heaven?
Say, someone with a really good heart, helpful towards others, generous, kind, selfless, who sacrifices his/her life working on behalf of others, but just happens to be a Christian, or a Hindu, or an atheist. Is this person going to have a chance to make it to Heaven?
Edit: a couple more questions, since I’m hearing about yet another knife attack in Germany:
Do you feel that the Muslim community should dennounce these kind of terrorist attacks?
Do you dennounce them?
The Charlie Hebdo shooting, would you say the cartoonists deserved to die for drawing the prophet?
