8 Weeks Out From My First Contest

A little background: 18 yrs old. I started the prep at 206, now currently 192 as of today. Im guessing my bf is at 11%. Ive been dieting w/out any help but in hindsight i probably should have. Just dont wanna pay someone to tell me how to diet.








I think i can come in decent at 184 or in the low 170’s. Just want some input.

Great arms. Heavy benching build that chest. Your insertion points are tough, going to be a battle. You can do it.

Thanks brah. I think i was using my tri’s instead of my chest to bench for the better half of the 2 yrs i started training seriously. But i think ive fixed the form issue now, my chest used to be worse than what it is :stuck_out_tongue: and what do you mean by my bad insertion points?? Besides my chest i thought i had some pretty good ones. Like having long insertion points.

And the main reason i posted these pics is so i can get some advice as to whether i look like im on track to come in shape for my comp. Like i said i think im 11%, and i wanna get down to 5%. Ive just never really dieted before by myself.

Seems like you have a decent balance. The two you need to bring up are your legs and chest. For 18 you look pretty good though. As far as being 8 weeks out, I think you’re a little behind the curve but if you start cutting out more carbs and picking up the cardio you can still do decent at the show. Keep working on that posing as well. Practice at least twice a week.

You have any bf estimates? Shooting for a numer/percentage makes it easier for me

Triceps are a strong point, work on your legs more and as far as a body fat estimate your probably between 14-18%, if you serious about doing a show in 8 weeks i’d hit the cardio hard right now.
