8 Week Fat Loss Cycle

Hi!
I have a special case and was looking for some advice.

Background-

I was a fat boy and at 17 discovered weights I went from being fat to becoming a
very very strong athlete throughout college. I was on the football team as well as the power lifting team. I was strong for sure. I lifted and stayed very very fit for 15 years after. I was 5’ 10" 205lb and 12% body fat.

3 years ago I contracted 3 yes I said three different types of food poisoning. I live and work abroad. I am American an was staying in a country (supposed to be an ally) where often the hospitals refused foreigners.

Anyway, after being refused treatment (I had no Idea what I had) or getting an Iv and then sent home. I got very very sick! I went form 220lb to 166lb in three months and really thought I was going to die. It got so bad I decided if I was going to die it might as well be in paradise = ) so I went to Thailand.

upon arriving I collapsed at the airport and was whisked to a REAL hospital and went into ITC unit for 15 days on Antibiotic drips and such. The doctor told my friend if I hadn’t been as strong as I was before I would have been dead already.

OK, so after another 3months I was cured. BUT, my weight flew back on I mean flew. I could eat a salad and gain 3lbs. In a matter of a year I was and am 250lb but with a whole lot of fat i mean tons.

Now its two years later and I am still 250lb and a salad will make me gain fat. High blood pressure and weakness no libido etc. I understand diet been doing it for years! and I build a decent gym in my place. I have tried to cut calories for the last two years. Even as low as 1000ca a day for months at a time.

Here is the issue I have so stamina, no motivation, no energy nothing. I don’t even want to drink or play and I have insomnia awfully. I have dieted super hard with a 1lb loss in a month and just really to tired to push the weights like I did. I lift between 1-2 days a week now.

I really think I smashed my hormones but, I have zero way of getting tested. The country I currently am in has rudimenty medical facilities at best. (I now have evac insurance to a real hospital in a different county)

But, I have access to T3, T4 Clen and sus…that’s it!

I was remembering I did a cycle of sus (only) in college and I dropped down to 7% bodyfat from 14% without dieting actually I increased my food intake as I was looking to gain some more mass.

SO, do you think I lack testosterone?

I was wondering if it may be possible to drop BF% an increase my T levels and maybe get somewhere near what i was before I go sick? And yes, I have my diet dialed in but NOTHING works. I even went so far as a two week fast in India and only lost 4lb. I eat nothing but protein and raw or steamed veggies, no soda, no beer, no processed foods or bread…some rice as I am in Asia

SO, I was thinking if in the last cycle I did dropped a a lot of BF quickly … maybe more if I did it again? I wasn’t half as disciplined then as I am now.

This is what I am thinking

8weeks

750mg sus 8wks (could go higher)
T3 100 and T4 150 8weeks tapper up down
clen 8 weeks 3days on 3days off

What do you guys think ??

Done any research on whether or not food poisoning has had any effect on T production?
PCT on sus cycle back in the day?
PCT for said cycle?

I did a the “common” cycle at my Uni for the day.

8 weeks

  1. 1amp
  2. 1amp
  3. 2amp
  4. 3amp
  5. 3amp
  6. 2amp
  7. 1amp
  8. 1amp

20mg Novadax everyday for three weeks after

I looked but found nothing online that correlates the two. But being fat does lower you T levels.

I though maybe because I had gone into starvation mode and the bacteria was eating my joints and
organs it my have messed me up. I was told it would take a bit to get back
but, at the 3year mark I am looking for options. As, I don’t mind bulk …but waekness and fat
well hate it.

Also, I am now 37 and things in general take longer = ) And, a good friend is on TRT and
said I had all the same symptoms he did before. It took me back and I though maybe a 8week cycle would jump start my body again?

Without doubt or question something is amiss in your body and its very likely it is related to your endocrine system. However, without the necessary blood tests we’re playing a guessing game. Since you seem committed I would encourage you to get the lab tests first and foremost even if it means you have to travel out of country as you referenced above.

My suspicion is you might not only have low test but elevated E2 levels. However, it is not prudent to simply guess and throw you down a pathway based on ignorance. Once we know exactly where you stand then can you be guided properly into the right decisions. This may not be as immediate a solution as you wanted but it is the right thing to do.

I mean to go from 166 to 250 on a diet of salad is extreme and likely points several internal issues. Can you provide further details on that 90lb weight gain? How long did it take to go from 166 to 250? What other than salad did you eat? etc?

Also for the future if its confirmed and a decision is made to pursue raising test and/or lowering E2 I’d be very hesitant to simultaneously throw you into a T3/Clen regime. Given what your body has been threw the past couple years its probably better to crawl before you walk or run.

Agreeing with saps here.

Before starting a fat loss cycle, you need to see an endocrinologist. I don’t know where you live and what the wait times are to see an endo, but if you have a friend/family member who is a physician and can get you to see an endo sooner, and perform some prelim. blood tests before you are in there, that would be the best option.

It seems your body has been through some heavy strain in the past years, and starting a cycle now, especially with compounds as powerful as thyroid hormones and clen, could aggravate the issues you have and maybe present new ones.

Remember that your goal is to take the weight off and, most importantly, keep it off. If your body doesn’t have the ability to keep it off due to internal issues, then you will be back where you started in a year.

See an endo first, and hope to find a medically sound treatment for whatever it is that is going on. After everything in that department works out, hit the dark side as hard as you can =)

It is not possible to consume only 1000 cal/day for months on end at 250 lb and not lose fat, or lose only 1 lb per month.

I’m not saying you may not have metabolic difficulties, which may have hormonal contributions, but if you are saying that you did the above with that result, then there is also a problem that your dieting is not what you think it is.

Actually this is not uncommon: many who are dieting vastly underestimate their intake.

why dont you track calories on a program like fitday.com, get your actually calorie count instead of rough estimating and go from there. there may be underlying problems from your medical issues before, but if you are having trouble dropping body fat, not eating and not working out isnt a healthy option, thats what 50 year old overweight schoolteachers do, it messes up their metabolism horribly. are you still drinking alcohol? post a rough outline of your diet if you can…

Hi!

Thanks guys!! Yea I am feeling a bit jumpy really. Also, I did not mean I only ate salad for a year I meant I could eat a salad and gain weight. I went up 90lb in a years time I gained close to 10lb a month or more. My main diet was Thai food …soups, veggies and fresh lean meats. AND, none of the yummy good fating Thai food as my GF at the time was worried about my weight gain and is a fitness freak herself.

I agree I need to see a doc but to see a specialist I would need to head home or Europe I think. Well and that’s just can’t happen at this time plus no insurance in the states.

Everywhere else in the world but not home. I am headed to Thailand for a week and I did make an appointment with a “sports doc” there. Really not sure what test he will run if any…but medically Thailand is pretty good. I guess we will see.

I am committed but, I thank you guys!! I will hit the doc there first and see what he says. I guess I just got antsy as I am embraced by it right now and my brother is coming to visit in a couple of months and well …He is younger and went from fat to Super super fit and is still that way. =P I know pride

I am based out of Cambodia and Vietnam for you guys who asked. I travel pretty frequently around Asia usually in the third world. and being big and strong had its advantages here for sure

I will keep you posted on what the doc says.

Any recomendations for test I shout ask?
Other than Test, thyroid and E2 levels?

Free test

Ask for a complete comprehensive bloodwork including differential cholesterol counts, glucose, hormone levels, CBC, and electrolytes, to be thorough (if they are going to take your blood anyways, might as well get the most out of it). Even if things do appear normal, try to get a referral to an endo if you can. They can uncover problems that are low-lying or hidden.

OK that sheds some light on the subject but like Bill Roberts said something must be substantially off in your diet calculations. Further, I dont know how you didnt notice yourself gaining 10lbs a month, month after month after month

My advice to you, Pick up your running shoes stop liftng tin and work hard across the board. Roids is such an american thing. Toughen up mate, I would imagine the drugs are good short term but useless long term. How could you jeopardise your “package” like that

Go away. Everyone here knows the risks and rewards of the drugs we CHOOSE to use. If someone wants an opinion on whether or not to use, they will ask.

Actually gentelmen, Its New Zealand i come from. A country where no one bombs, terrorises or slanders us on a weekly basis. Where men are men and don’t rely on artificial supplements to help generate their egos (we get the occasional male that wears a cardigan) We are an old school country which doesn’t buy into all this new school crap. Though i must admit health and fitness wise NZ would head and shoulders above the USA.

One thing i must admit though you guys do 3things better than us…

1.Porn
2.Woman
3. Movies (at the moment - watch once were warriors or boy!!)
