When I stopped running, I did a lot of those inverted rows at the playground, along with other BW stuff. Kept me busy for several months before I joined the gym. Funny, haven’t done any since. I should do them on occassion. Thanks for the reminder Alexus.

I was a sistard for the longest time (as was Cal), doing what was easiest for us: bench and curls, and ignoring the squats.
in your case I was dropping the word in regards to the heavy curls you mentionned you could do ![]()

and I’ve had days like yours with my deads where it just wouldn’t move. I usually come back to it cranking out a PR. Also when th weight is near my max I increase by 5lbs instead of 10…

The deadlift is… sigh I won’t bad-talk it. I guess I shouldn’t be upset since I didn’t DL in a few weeks, maybe more. I don’t know how to get over the mental block with it. I try everything from not counting the weights to running up on the bar and just pulling. I ono.

Today I did an Upper body day, combining 2 workouts in one since I won’t be going to the gym tomorrow.
Started with back.
Did Neutral Grip pulldowns superset with wide pull-ups.
Highlights:
Pulldown PR of 140 x 12
Not a PR, but did weighted pull-ups with 10 pounds for 2 clean, dead-hang reps.
Did DB rows
Highlight:
Did them hook-less/glove-less
95 x 8 on both arms, back was tired and hands were sweaty from the superset lol
Supersetted incline DB bench with incline rear delts
Highlights:
45s x 11
Gotta suck it up and do 50s next time. Incline DBs came a long way…
Cable laterals
Highlights:
5, 10, and 15 pounds done with 15 reps per arm.
20# x 8 reps each arm.
A friend said that “I have so much energy” lol
Superset BB curls with thumbless skullcrushers
Highlights:
BB curls 70 x 10 x 3 sets
Sistard =D
Worked up to 55 x 10 for the thumbless grip skullcrushers

They were doing something for elderly people in the basketball court so I went home and did 10 minutes HIIT on the stairs.
