oh no!

Get an external hard drive and back up all your info. I had the hard drive die on my macbook and I lost a lot of pictures that I never can get back… but the info that I had saved on the external I was able to load right back up after Apple replaced my computer.

If your drive fails before you get your stuff off it, try putting the drive in the freezer (in a ziplock bag) for a few hours and see if you can get it back long enough to retrieve your stuff.

I’ve had this work for me so I tell everyone to try it :slight_smile: It only works if your drive has seized but if the head has crashed your screwed.

Thanks for the computer wishes guys. Called my bf over last night and he did something that checked the hard drive upon rebooting (remember, my computer skills go to Ctrl+Alt+Del).
The test came back okay, nothing was wrong. Still got the error though, so I just called Dell. Those people infuriate me. Terrible customer service.
Anyway, they checked the computer and said it’s fine as well.
Told me to wait until it crashes to call back. Oh goodie /sarcasm

Oh but yeah, I did back up the files, no worries. I did that before my guy even told me too. I deserve a cookie… oh lookie there, I already had 3 today.

But yeah, this’ll work out however it decides. I’m not stressing right now, I think it’s the rhodiola though. I’m pretty content even though it seems like life is crashing down rapidly around me haha

Long day today, not even getting into it. Did some conditioning at the gym today. Tried to do legs but I couldn’t leg press 6 plates. Funny, I don’t feel sore but they’re tired so whatever. Not disappointed, it would’ve been an extra leg workout anyway.

Started off with Greg’s pull-up, dip, push-up pyramid (if you don’t know what it is then visit Greg’s log. Which is strange because anyone who’s anyone goes to Greg’s log ;D )
Cereally, the order (consecutively as stated above) is 2-2-5,4-4-10,6-6-15,8-8-20,10-10-25 then go back down 8-6-4-2

Killer shit, I loved it. Oh and the pull-ups weren’t bad at all, at most it took 2 sets to do the pull-ups (I did go from wide grip immediately to neutral grip though)

Anyway, carried on with DB swings (up to 60 x 10), farmer walks, more pull-ups with a bud assist me, waiters walks up to 45# and… that’s it I think. Did that for an hour.

Hmm, that may have been everything. Eh.

45 lb Waiter’s walks? Awesome. I like Greg’s pull-up, dip, push-up idea. I could do a circuit, but since I can only get a set of 5 pull-ups on a really good day, I don’t think I’m ready for the pyramid action. That would make for a really short, squaty pyramid, no?

glad your computer seems to be okay. i’m in a panic when mine gets cranky. or when my internet gets cranky. sour cream, cheese, and bacon YUM!!! not so into chives, though… paprika goes well sprinkled on top.

Are you using a Windows PC? What sort of crashes are you getting - blue screen of death? If so, when it restarts there should be a messaging saying your computer has recovered from a serious error and there should be a clicky link to Microsoft detailing the type of error. If you can find out what the error is, you can go some way to determining the problem.

I am guessing your boyfriend ran chkdisk and or ran the defragger.

A quick way to check your hard drive is go to your Start Menu, then Control Panel.
You should find an icon for Administrative Tools. Click on it. Then click on Computer Management.
This will bring up a small menu. Click on Storage.
Under that you will find Removable Storage (ignore this), Disk Defragmentor (this is a utility that tidies up your hard drive so that it can be used more efficiently - you can run this if your boyfriend didn’t. It’s not complicated) and Disk Management (Local). Click on the this and it will show the status of your hard drive. It should say “Healthy”.

If it is healthy, then something else is the problem. Are you using antivirus or any kind of malware removal program? Malware and spyware can cause a lot of issues, but so can using incompatible antivirus or antimalware programs (as I found out to my cost last year).

If you can give me a bit more info then I can look into it for you. I’m not an IT expert but I’ve been using PCs since 1988 so I know a fair bit. I’ll need your system specs, operating system and what antivirus, anti-malware/spyware programs and internet browser you use.

And yes, do get an external drive and back up your data.

Puff, Greg gave my hypothetical friend advice that you can take as many sets it takes to do the reps.

S.M.A.R.T isn’t guaranteed accurate but do get that external drive and do your back-ups regularly.

Then a complex. The complex is too long but there was like, a bajillion exercises.
Reps went from 6 to 5 to 4 all the way down to 1 with each passing set.

I don’t know if that makes sense but who cares about that anyway lol
