780 Reasons You Should Know Cocoa Espresso

your legs are looking strong, and you still have the cutest toes on TNation~

Aww Edge, for you to say that, when my toes’ looking like this =D

Popping in very quickly before doing some homework since the workout’s still fresh in my head and I didn’t write anything down

Circuit:
10 door pull-ups
10 wide push-ups with 1 leg elevated
10 burpees done with 15 lb DBs

Did the circuit 5 times, minimal rest between.

Did some traveling jump squats, one-arm OH DB carries with 30#, DB snatches with 15# 20# and 30#, and a tabata to finish up. I did some other random things and ran the above exercises kinda like a circuit to bring me to an hour workout, finished right when Dora the Explorer was coming on. Thank heavens.

legs are lookin jacked!!

plowing through despite the hurtin - your such a hardass

^ This. My, you are looking lean and mean through those thighs.

All those BW squats are impressive. Hope everything is mending up.

yeah, great quad pump!

Today is an off/cheat day.

Quick “progress” pic taken this morn.

On the school front, I’m networking with sports psychologists in Florida. Sports psychology isn’t a common major in colleges here so their help is invaluable to me. Won’t be bad in the future for help with getting a career in the industry

Ah future’s looking bright <3

for our Cupcake!

Quads ftw! Looking fantastic! Love your stomach

I’m going to steal some of your circuits.

high five

You are looking reeeaaaallll good in the pic. And yay for networking

yeah, awesome midsection, too  congrats on the networking. i’m sure it will help your cause that you are obviously really into this stuff!

Aww! poor toesie! Glad its healing up tho. That shit look narsty…just sayin’

Lookin damn lean, lover. Nice work! And the quads keep filling out. Lovely.

Training is looking good - very “conditioning”-like. I’ve been meaning to try those DB burpees a la Gregron (swoon).

sports psychology, eh? Awesome!!! I actually have a colleague who does work with injured NFL players - its pretty sad actually b/c some of these guys get injured and then before you know it they got nothing. No more football career, no more money , no contract, and here’s the kicker, no fucking health insurance! Can you believe that?! Anywho…

Good stuff cupcake.

looking good nik! Wheels and core are looking tight and fit!

Thanks for the McLuvin.

What’s mine is yours Debbie Cakes.

Maschy, the DB burpees were a la scouring net for fun stuff. I bookmark a lot of exercise-ey things and one of them is a circuit with DBs, DB burpees being one of 'em. But I’m sure the dude in the pic wasn’t doing the burpees with as much weight as Greg <3
Very awesome that you know someone in the biz

I was going to train at home today but I’m emotional eating instead. I miss the gym. I even miss the bad music </3

On the bright side of things, my final grade in stats is an 83%. So… yippee

Alright, I’m going to go be in a funk elsewhere, stay cool peeps

lol I get called Debbie Cakes all the time

Nice stats grade!

The toe looks to be healing up nicely. Thank GOD! I was worried about your pretty little foot. You asked if I was wearing different shoes when the DB incident happened… nope, those chucks are pretty new so I’ve been breaking them in, just very lucky. Weird because if I touch that spot on my foot it is still sore but that’s the only time I feel it. Fortunately.

Congratulations on that stats grade!

It goes without saying that you look fantastic. Amazingly hot babycakes. Yummy thighs and tummy. I like the pix very much!

That toe has gone from zombie to hottie with surprising quickness.

With so many of my (nerdy) friends bitching about stats I can say that an 83 is good stuff. You’ll probably reward yourself with two hundred reps of something painful. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sports psychology is really interesting. We just have the one class here (sigh), but as much as we (who lift) know how much of it is mental it took having it pointed out to me how much of performance is also mental. It’s cool that that’s your field; it would also be funny to see the looks of some athletes when they walk into your office! laugh “THIS is my head doc?!”

I would play on you like a jungle-gym!

Very nice job on that stats grade. Sorry you are still out of the gym. You miss the endorphins. Understandable. Try to enjoy the forced rest. You’ll be back soon, rested, and ready!

Ya’ll are sweeter than Oreo-choc chip cookies… which I’ve been meaning to make.
Bless Yahoo for putting that recipe in my head.
Ran outta cookie dough though ;(

Kris, I kinda want to throw a fit that I didn’t get an A (I missed a test) but I also would’ve bet that I was going to fail, so I’m content. A B should be nice to show off on my university application.
Oh and how well you know me Good Sir, I indeed did do 200 reps of something today.
Sports psych is indeed interesting!
LOL @ “THIS is my head doc?!” ;D

Print <3

Nadia, I am beginning to deal with it
Thanks

Forced myself out of my slump to do some at-home stuff. I’m still holding a lot of the carbs from my last cheat, but I like it =D

200 BW squats
50 in-n-out jump squats
50 push-ups
50 ball roll-ins
50 more push-ups

BF came over after work with Sonic. I had a Chicago and NY dog (eh), onion rings, jalepeno poppers and some of the new Red Velvet Cheesecake thingy. It’s ice cream so I wasn’t ecstatic about it.

I might have a nice low-carb dinner. Maybe. Been kinda dirty the past few days. I’m going to eat like a human being and not a rabbit until either a) my new thermogenics arrive or b) whenever I get back in the gym.
If gym comes before supps, then diet starts again. If not, then I wait for the toe.

growl

Nikki, those pictures really show off your hard work. So hawt!

I hope your toe feels even better today.
