Today was eh, so-so. Felt sick during my back workout, so I debated whether or not I should get a treat to pump me up for shoulders and decided that a small Frosty from Wendy’s won’t be terrible.

I wanted to start off with pull-ups to get a vid, but all my available spaces to do pull-ups were taken. Assholes, who the hell trains at 9 in the morning anyway? Losers, that’s who 0:)

So I had to start with pulldowns

I gotta say though, I love lat pulldowns because pulling a bar to your bewbs looks so hawt.

Used all my strength for the pulldowns so got in about 1 set of unassisted wide pull-ups, did 4 sets with foot resting on something.

Superset straight arm pulldowns with rope lat pulldowns… boring, moving on

Form wasn’t great, used more legs than I should have. By now stomach was doing some funky stuff

Did some ab work, figured I had to make myself pay for the Frosty
Finally did the weighted planks though, best was 45# x 49 seconds. Very proud. Made boring planks more interesting as well.

Oh yeah, other cardio was fasted walk to gym, walk back home.

Heh, I don’t know what half these exercises you do are. Nice work, though. You’re obviously making great progress.

I don’t think I ever had a Frosty before, but it was delicious and helps with workouts, so I’m sure it won’t be my last.

I don’t have much time but I’ll explain muscle rounds since I love those hard ass suckers now, and my shoulders are looking even better (although I appreciate Alisa’s compliment that she likes mine already blush)

I got Muscle Rounds from Thib’s HS-100 Shoulder specialization and they’re just cable lateral raises, and what you do is:

6 raises left arm
6 raises right arm
6 raises left arm
6 raises right arm
6 raises left arm
6 raises right arm
6 raises left arm
6 raises right arm

So that’s 48 total reps, 24 reps each shoulder (at most use a weight that’s 12RM, most) and, oh yeah, that’s one set.

Your shoulders burn like hell, duh, but I swear that my shoulders are bigger and that’s major since I wasn’t expecting much until a caloric surplus.

Today was a terrible leg day. I’m starting to tank already, but just gotta push through til tomorrow and Wednesday is my day off.

Workout consisted of DLs since I forgot to do yesterday for back, partial prone leg curls (LOVE THESE now), squats superset with leg curls full ROM, deficit RDLs and that’s about it. I tried to do other stuff but was too discouraged.
Motivation was lacking, only because my strength is depleted. And we all know how I hate not being my best on any given day haha

However, +5 PR on deadlift, and rep PR with 235x3. I also left a lot in the tank with that set. Content with the +5? Sure. Feel like I could’ve done better? Absolutely.

Anyway, heading out to see a movie right now so I have to catch up on journals when I get back.

Considering you were feeling less than motivated and on the weak side, I’d say that’s an awesome PR! More DL poundage is in the bag once you get yourself a frosty.

I guess it’d be somewhat appropriate to say, “stay frosty”.

You’re right on the ass lower, leg-drive thing. For some reason I got out of that habit again, after discovering the wonders of it a couple weeks ago. Form shouldn’t have slipped my mind, I guess I was upset at failing the 275 before the 255.
