While yesterday wasn’t a great day, despite the squat PRs (as Veggie said, sometimes your head just isn’t in it), today was my last day to prove that I deserved my cheat meal tomorrow. So I had no choice but to kill it.

This morning, woke up and did 10 sprints (30 seconds on/off) which just about killed me. Ugh.

Thanks Aqua, I kinda hate cheat meals now because I want to continue making progress and losing fat, but I know the bad part is my metabolism slows down (very quickly with this diet) and then I have bad gym days and I feel like quitting. So I guess 1 off/cheat day followed by 4 days of hard work is a good trade-off.

Austin, yep, doing them for my hammies. I find them especially good for the glute-ham tie-in. Sure split squats work that too, but those aren’t as fun as GMs. I <3 them.

Thanks MiM, H4M posted advice to do low-rep GMs and I find them entirely more beneficial than high-rep ones.
I did high rep GMs before but never felt it in my hamstrings as much. With the heavy weight, I feel as though I have no choice but to recruit the hamstrings and glute muscles just to get back up, and I think that that’s making them stronger. My glutes are starting to feel like rocks.
My back is also thanking H4M. That dude really knows his stuff <3

I basically have no choice in an off-day today. I have to go to the gym anyway, but can’t even be tempted to do anything because everything’s sore. I can’t even turn to the side because I hammered my obliques with sidebends.
I posted this in my RMP thread, but bodyfat is at 14.8%. Going to be a lot higher after dinner though :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m hoping that it will fuel for an awesome chest day tomorrow though.

Maschy- Yesterday turned into a cheat day ;(

I usually don’t feel like I’m tanking until I tank terribly, so trying to prevent rather than treat or however that saying goes.

Flys… CGBP, Pressdowns, Pullover Presses, HS biceps, cable curls.

Did OH DB carries from the fine Veggie, complexes were sadly out of the question because my upper body kinda screamed when I did a push press. Eh.

I expected today to be a lot worse since I only had sub 300 calories a few hours before I finally got to the gym. But I’m content, and expect an even better day tomorrow.
