705 Deadlift!!!!!!

What is your squat? What was it back when you used to dead lift 435?

I squatted 650 back in January at a meet. I think I am pretty close to 700 now. I hope to grab 750 this summer. Gotta go through a good circa max - and I won’t have school riding my jock so I can get rest and recovery better.

When I pulled 435, my squat was horrible. I didn’t have gear and I didn’t have good form. I bet I could squat around 365. I squatted 405 (raw) right around when I pulled 550 I think. I’m not really sure.

I never pull conventional and heavy (the way I do in a meet) in the gym. I seriously get so psyched up that it adds easily 50-70 lbs to my gym lift. Not even kidding.

Same with me I pulled 400 at my house and at a meet a couple months ago I did 450 (18 years old, 173 lbs)

Awsome lift mate. That is some great progress. I have just gotten back into the heavy lifting (not even close to your numbers) and this thread and others like it keep giving me the motivation I need. Keep it up and I am looking foward to the vids.

Nice work. 620 looked like you were ready to do another 10 reps with! Actually 705 looked great…from the looks of the video, I think you could have hit the 715 if you had skipped the 705.

Very strong looking. Especially for how tall you are! How long did it take you to build up to a weight like that?

I am 6 foot 2. About 250. I need to lean out a little and put on a lot of upper body muscle esp in the shoulders and upper back. I have big hips and legs so I look out of proportion. Anyways, I have been competing for 2 yrs but have been lifting since early highschool (nothing serious of course).
