Can this loading scheme be used with the Best Damn Workout for Naturals? If so, how many exercises per workout? Figure it might be too
much volume but interested to hear your take.
No. The best dam program is based on low volume work. 7/5/3 means 6 work set in an exercise. Which in itself is more volume than a whole day of “best damn”.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t do a program where the big lift is done using 7/5/3 waves and the assistance is done like BDW; but the frequency cannot be the same.
Would a 2 on/1 off approach work or still way too much weekly volume? I really like the push/pull program setup of best damn but want to incorporate 7/5/3.

Front squat - 7/5/3 - 2 waves
Triceps
Lat raise
Day 2
Deadlift - 7/5/3
Row variation - 7/5/3 or best damn
Bicep
Face pull
Day 3 off

Weighted dips - 7/5/3

Day 5
RDL - 7/5/3
Weighted pull ups - 7/5/3

Best Damn has one working set, as CT alluded to above. Go ahead and do your push pull and do your waves but don’t call it best damn anything because it doesn’t follow the principles.
