The belt squat done as a goblet squat means I don’t hold onto the machine’s handles so no accessory pulling, just all leg work. Still impressed that I’m out of breath afterwards exactly like regular squats. Impedes walking for awhile.

275 felt really, really heavy. Odd.
Deadlifts are like that. I have had days where it felt like the bar was welded to floor. The next time out, it is flying up.
I decided that the pullups I did before deads was a mistake.

I think goblet squats in belt squat machine are great.
I a trying to picture this? Are you holding a dumbell as well as having weight on the belt ? Or are you referring to something else ?
Holding a 25 lb dumbbell as well as weight on belt. Works great and I’m not cheating by using the “handle bars” to pull myself up.

I’ve heard about alternating a bench set with pullovers but never tried it before. Really great.
Actually one of the best stretches I’ve ever had. Upping the weight should be incredible stretch.
Gotta tell ya, that there is some good weight your lifting. And I don’t mean for your age, either. Arnold’s wi 60s, lat raises wi 35s and preachers with 80, all very impressive.
