yes we need a training thread just for you man! As others have said, keep it up, you look fucking awesome! Just keep in mind during these last couple weeks that you are doing something 99% of the ppl here cant or havent, and even less than .1% of the people your age are doing what youre doing! I started out in high school doing Bigger Faster Stronger for two years so that gave me a solid base. But after high school I kind of went off and did my own thing college. I would always base my days around some big movement like squat, dead lift, press. For those lifts I keep the reps between 6 and 10 and try to keep pretty decent form. After I moved onto a university from a junior college I did more research on actual programs.
I settled on 5/3/1 I had great improvements in my numbers but I wasn’t seeing the muscle growth I was hoping for so I switched back to 5 days of the traditional back,bi sort of stuff. After my last competition I looked very hard into DC. After reading everything over I jumped into that and did three or four cycles which I loved. But to switch things up I went back to traditional stuff. I keep most of my workouts pretty simple three sometimes four exercises of 3 to 4 sets for big muscle groups and 2 or 3 exercises for smaller muscles.
I like to do a lot of drop sets not sure why it’s just my thing so I usually throw in two or three different drop sets in a workout. I like to keep everything KISS( Keep It Stupid Simple).
