6 Inch Wrist, 20 Inch Arms?

Hi i just started lifting and realised my 6 or almost 6 inch wrists…i know naturally its impossible to even go near 19 inch biceps but is around 20 inch arms possible with roids?..

Wrists grow. Don’t worry about it.

Getting a 19 or 20" arm will have less to do with your 6" wrist and more to do with you being 5’5" and needing to reach the bodyweight it would take to carry that size arm.

While smaller wrists are considered a good thing in bodybuilding, it’s because it helps to make almost any arm development appear more impressive. “Appear” being the key word, as there’s no tape measure round in a bodybuilding contest.

I can’t find accurate wrist measurements for shorter bodybuilders, but guys 5’7" and taller’ seem to have upwards of 7-inch wrists, so I wouldn’t be surprised if guys like Danny Padilla, Mohamed Makawy, Lee Labrada, and Flex Lewis measured under 7". What that actually matters and how it influences your training… I’m not really sure.

This.

IIRC Holymac who used to post on here had 20 inch arms as a natty.

Did he have 6" wrists?

I have 6" wrists at 5’11". Maybe they’ll grow, maybe they won’t. I know that bones get denser with weight training, but it’s still disputed whether they get thicker. Not that it’s going to stop me from trying.

I have eight inch wrists, which are awesome for everything apart from making your arms look big.

A lean 235-240 would be my guess.

Sounds reasonable.

Lee Priest, who’s about that same height, measures his arms here at 22" in offseason-ish condition/not stereotypical Lee Priest offseason condition, so he’s, what, maybe 250+. (It’s not clear, but they might’ve been training arms in the vid, so a pump could “throw off” the reading a bit.)

In any case, though, the OP’s profile says he’s 195 and 20% bodyfat. So we’re looking at a lot of work to be done, one step at a time.

Check the two links I posted before.

My wrists are 6.5" and at 5’10, 225 (natty) with a 6’6 wingspan my arms were around 18.8" cold (19.7" bi/tri pump) before my neck injury (in the condition in my avatar). I’m having a hard time believing some of you have wrists smaller than me, lol.

This topic is just a can of worms but here is a article for you.

And x4 on STOP LOOKING FOR LIMITATIONS.

Believe, train hard , eat enough and sleep well. Shoot for the moon, at the least you will land among the stars.

Natty? Damn, now I’m really impressed.
