I apologize if this seems dumb, but when using 5x5 does that mean per lift or bodypart? It is never expressly mentioned in the article. If it means per lift, what is the max. sets per bodypart per week? Once again thanks for all the help.

5x5 means five sets of five repetitions.
It means 5 sets of 5 reps per movement. There isn’t really a “max” amount of lifts per bodypart as everyones body adjusts differently to different volumes.
