5'6 and 140lbs

It’ll take time, but I’ll get there…I say I’ve come a long way considering when I started…I was pretty much nonexistent. Most of the people I assume started at a decent build, but I had nothing other than bones and skin…A pretty bad ectomorph. Then again, I’ve come a long way…now at least I’ve got something to work with. I’ll improve on this…Lots more to come.

6 years +. No “cutting” bullshit. Add weight intelligently.

Stop making excuses about ‘where you started’ or justifying whatever. It serves no purpose.

Yes I’ve used more than just food in the past, but Im still making natural gains on a regular basis at this point.

Itd be a good idea if you started lifting weights as well. Bench, squat deadlift. Repeat for about 2 years with 5000cals a day then return. I’ve had turdds with more LBM than you have. I’m sure there should be a minimum weight limit before they let you join here.
He’s 140lbs. 5000 calories is absurd. I made it to 185 at 5’7 single digit bf% at around 3300-3500 calories and I have a fast metabolism.

A minimum weight limit to join? What does the number matter?? At all, in a hobby based on aesthetics? Youre not even big lol.
Obviously i was exaggerating for the interwebz…

While I know I am in no position to call BS on your lifts, I’m going to. You’re more then likely 1/4 squatting, I’m sure the rounding of your back in the deadlifts is horrific, and I assume you create a small earthquake from the shaking of your feet as you try to put up the 70 lb. DB’s. Also, nobody wants in on your “secrets” to amazing bicep growth.

That being said, you seem like a real go getter. Stop believing everything you see in magazines about the newest innovations in supplements, eat real food, lift, and don’t get frustrated when people continue to call you out for the things you post. Best of luck in your weight lifting journey

Well, at least you are focusing on lifts that matter (saying this without knowing your form), btw. That’s a huge plus.
As for your diet. You need to eat. Like Bonez said, you are in no place to cut.
Eat a ton of food, lift, and you’ll be on your way.

Well, to correct you…I am squatting in good form (chest out, back straight, full range of motion, weight on heels) slow on the negatives and fast up. While deadlifting, again, back straight during the whole eccentric and concentric movements. Fuk no I don’t even look at magazines and sht…I did take personal training for 3 months when I started lifting, about a year ago, at which time I could not even curl 20s. As far as the earthquake goes, I don’t think my gym is fancy enough to afford a richter scale! jks The nutrition and supps are something I am still trying to increase positively…hope that clears your bs call.

Thanks for the advice!

Really? Calling bs on a 225 squat and 225 deadlift? What has the world come to, sure he’s only 140lbs but his lifts fit his body. Most guys can get their deadlift to 225 for reps in less than 2 months if they stay consistent. Squatting doesn’t take that much longer either. Again, for the numbers that were called bs.

Newb gains are very real and with the right diet and program those numbers are very believable. The curls are a bit high and the DB bench is too for his size but it doesn’t really matter.

I say keep it up OP, but quit mentioning supplements so much. People are more concerned about the food you eat not the supplements you take, and you should be concerned about the same thing.

Just tired of peoples expectations being so low i guess, 30 years ago people wouldn’t be doubting these light weights.

Couldn’t have said it better, and yeah I’m concentrating more on the food now. Thanks bud!

Youre a fool. Someone who doesnt look like they lift shouldnt be attempting to lose weight.

You look starving after your bulk.

You have to stop using supplements to let your body “detox” ?? What were you using? Arsenic?

Also your posture is horrible and thats why your chest looks like its caved in being swallowed by your shoulders.

But welcome. Hopefully you get your head out of your ass and realize what it takes to actually make progress
Posts like this keep me motivated when I get sick of the constant grind.

Good looks bonez, you’re an inspiration.

Lol suree we’ll go with “creatine”…even if he’s taking “creatine”, it still takes an a**load of hardwork.

Yea, creatine and you can see where he inject fish oil too. His arms are pumped full of the stuff. Nobody gets that big natural…

lol classic…

No reason to call BS on his lifts. There are plenty of women out there the same size who can lift what he does. It isn’t unreasonable.

Update as of March 27, 2011

Hope you guys like the progress.
