550 ng/dl Testosterone While On TRT

Hello,

I just got my blood work back after being on my current TRT protocol for 6 months. I have been taking 40mg of cypionate every other day. I was a bit surprised seeing the 550 ng/dl result since my natural results are 250 ng/dl. I am thinking about increasing my EOD injection dose to 60mg and seeing how my body responds. Is this to high of a jump or would it be reasonable to do?

I have done blast in the past and this is not my first time doing TRT but it’s my first time following the EOD injections. I have attached the results of my testosterone and estrogen.

Any advice is appreciated.

How do you feel?
How are your pre-TRT SYMPTOMS?

Right now I feel good but I have my days when everything feels like a grind. My libido and everything else is feeling good.

Pre TRT I felt terrible. I had all the typical low t symptoms.

My only advice fwiw, is focus on symptom relief. Don’t focus on the numbers. I have a friend who feels great on numbers similar to yours, and I know another guy who doesn’t get complete symptom relief unless his free T is well above the “range”, and his total T is well above 1200 at trough.

Find the lowest t dose FOR YOU that brings symptom relief.

Free T values aren’t exactly stellar and have seen guys seeking TRT with these Free T numbers.

This course of action may lead to your new doctor refusing to prescribe you TRT. I see a lot make the mistake thinking if a little testosterone makes me feel good, more is better.

Don’t be this guy.

Thanks for the insight. Funny enough my current Dr prescribed me 200mg a week but I thought that was too high as a starting dose so I started at 140mg per week. So if I were to increase to the 55mg-60mg EOD I would be at that prescribed range.

I definitely want to do this responsibility.

That’s a great point that I will keep in mind. I know I feel better compared to my natural state but I do know that I can feel better. I am basing that on past exposure to higher test injections.

For example, the aggression “rage” that you want in the gym is rarely there for me.
