Been on TRT for 4 years. 70ml testosterone cypionate, every 3.5 days for a total of 140ml/wk. I’ve been cruising on this dose for about two years. IM injection rotating through quads and delts.
Was thinking of bumping the dose up to 150-160ml/week to see if any extra benefits are available.
Blood tests were on day 3.5 at the trough, just before the scheduled next dose.
Numbers look pretty good and I wouldn’t worry about the E2 being slightly high. From my experience you will get no added extra benefits from such a small dose increase.
What benefits, exactly? I don’t know what 20mg of test added weekly is really going to accomplish. Maybe TT goes to 950ng? E2 goes to 50pg? Is that going to make a difference?
IDK if you feel good now I’d leave it alone. If you want to to test the waters of higher doses, you’re gonna need to push things up
You know they say that men <230 ng/dL will stand to see the most noticeable improvement in raising testosterone into the high normal range, and that those 350> will show improvement, just not to the same degree as those men who were truly rock bottom low.
Therefore any gains will likely be minimal going from say 888 ->1000 ng/dL.
You definitely have some breathing room with your hemoglobin <16.
Thanks guys. I’m happy staying where I am…this is more of “would I notice a significant difference” question and it sounds like the answer is no.
Long story short… life got away from me, long hours…desk job, kids, excuses etc and I’ve become a fata$$ and am trying to turn things around. It would be nice if a bump in TRT would aid in that but probably not nearly as much as dialing in my diet.
I’m happy my labs look good and won’t try and fix it if it isn’t broken! Thanks!
