531 First Time

Si I just started the 531.Thought it would be to easy at first.Doing three times a week with limited assistance work.Got one or two reps extra on the 5Plus sets9set30 on all lifts but on overhead pressm I got ten reps!all my one rep max were accurate as I actually did them beforen starting,Im not on any gear just weight gain creatine and multi-v.

So far so good I just worry about going for a real PR as I powerlift and have a comp in a few months.I don’t want to get to used to lighter weights.But the program is fun and basic compound weights…Looking forward to learning more here.

so anyway week 2 doing the 3s and still getting almost double on my plus sets.Is this normal?Should bother deloading on week 4?Also After 4 weeks the article suggest doing it again but should I alter assistance exercises?And are u supposed to keep running it till you get to where the sets are failing to reach rep rang ?Im getting sore as hell from the workouts despite feeling like im not doing musch volume and intense sets only on set 3.Btw Im feeling strong and looking big and full so maybe its woring its magic already lol.

Anyone care to share any info answer any ?s will be welcome.Im coming back to powerlifting wit 625 dead ,550 squat(tho its more like 475 right now ) and a raw pause bench of 370(all lifts raw just belt only) at about 208 lbs at 5’10,looking to compete in RAW comps.My main priority is getting my squat to 600 ass to floor and pulling atleast 650 this year wich is reasonable IMO.

Throw in some jokers. If you have a mental hurdle with having something heavy on your back,these solve the problem of not “feeling something heavy” for 2 weeks.

Not sure what jokers are.ill search it.I just found tnation looking for some good programs and found this and joined forum for learning more anbout it.
