While that sumo pull was very impressive and probably better than anything I’ll ever pull sumo (I only tried once, felt way too weird), I’m more impressed by the conventional pull in the OP.
Both are amazing feats of strength though and those lifters should be very proud of their achievements. They’re both great examples of how woman can lift heavy and not become overly bulky and still be feminine.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but these kinds of comments are shunned in most powerlifting forums (even outside of this one). While your comments reflect your own opinion, they can be seen as condescending and aren’t accepted well by those who spend many years of their lives powerlifting. This would be similar to me posting on a NASCAR forum about the merits of fuel economy on my sedan. Your opinion on what is more or less impressive is of no consequence to anyone who is serious about the sport.
Despite your attempt to give praise to both lifters in your post, it still came off as a “backhanded complement” at best.

My point wasn’t to say that one lift was better than the other (although from a PL perspective, one clearly is). But rather to show another great lift that I got to watch live that was relative to the conversation.

remember when that one female sprinter smoked everyone then it was found out that her hormone levels technically made her a man and she actually had testicles inside of her? thats what this seems like.
Maybe you should check what is wrong with you and your training.
You sound like one of those men who can’t accept that there are definitely stronger women than themselves out there, and are fucking butthurt about it.
She lifted nearly four times her bodyweight. What have you accomplished in the gym lately?
But you know what? You’re right. She’s definitely got more balls than you’ll never have.
im not butthurt or jealous.
in fact… you seem a little butthurt over what i said lol
you guys are pretty funny with all your “alphaness” and “putting me in my place” tho.

I get a kick out of those comments too. It sure doesn’t take much to get the White Knights all riled up! ROFL! Low brain cell count I guess.

im just saying what everyone else is thinking…
thats probably how it went at the sprinting event also—
judge 1: hmm that sprinter performed way better than all the others, perhaps we should test her hormone levels
judge 2: youre so disrespectful derp, shes way more feminine and classy than you and she sprints faster than you too so suck it.
Still a completely unfair and serious accusation upon someone who you don’t know at all.
All I can say is I’m astounded, amazed and motivated as hell. 518dl from a 137lb lifter is impressive on it’s own. But seeing a woman pull it with that kind of swag was beyond incredible and impressive. It should motivate the hell out of you, not elicit a negative response.

-Naturally higher testosterone levels.
-Tendon attachment sites more on par with that of an animal.
-Superior neural efficiency with high levels of both inter and intra muscular coordination.
-A preponderance of fast twitch fibers.
-Short torso and relatively long arms with hands hanging down to the mid/low femur level.
-In other words, she’s black.

Not that I like to feed trolls, but why don’t we see people of African descent dominating all aspects of strength competitions? You check out much worlds strongest man or track world records at all?
And if someone is naturally stronger than you, shouldn’t that motivate you to work that much harder? Weak minded, need excuses?
Wow, this thread reminded me why I rarely ever log into this site anymore. Who the fuck opened the flood gates and let so many fucking pussies in? Jesus Christ. OMG, did you see that he compared her to that sprinter that turned out to sort of be a guy BECAUSE OF HOW SHE BLEW AWAY HER COMPETITION in a similar manner- not because he is saying she has a dick, you fucking tightly wound pussies!
Some of you didn’t react to the comment like fucking idiots- so I’m not talking to you. The rest of you are fucking tightwad pussies.

I worked for them so I could get a discount set of knives. $400 set for $150. I already had 2 jobs, so I did that to buy some kickass cutlery! Scissors that can cut pennies? You bet your ass!
That being said, any job that requires you to spend your own money is a scam.

All the job parameters were falsely advertised. Went to the first day of training and never went back. Deficit earning with no assistance? No thanks.
