You and 49 others are in a football field sized enclosure. The ground is made of rubber and completely inclosed by slick cement walls. There are no other objects in the enclosure just you and 49 other average men and one pissed off Silver Back Gorilla.
The Gorilla is hell bent on killing every last one of you. Either you kill the Gorilla or you are all dead. There are no weapons, just a small plastic bottle with 50 Spike pills.
Do you believe it’s possible to exit alive, if so how?
Easy as pie. I would let the silver back kill about half of the guys, to let him get worn out a bit. Then I would give split the spike up between two guys. After swallowing 25 spike, hopefully the would die, or pass out. I would then grab one of the unconcious or dead men by his ankles. I would swing his happy ass around like giant club, and just start beating the silverback with the dead/or unconciuos man. If the silverback got to close to me, I would throw the man at the gorilla, and go pick up the second dead guy, and start thumping away at the gorilla.
Yes, it would be possible to exit alive. They key would be organizing all of the 50 men (including yourself). If you could get all 50 men to act in cooperation, then the gorilla would have no chance. You could easily kill it.

I think 50 men would be able to kill it, if they were strong and athletic that is. They say gorilla has strength of 10 olympic lifters though
I doubt that 50 men could kill a silverback with no weapons, unless someone uses someone else as a truncheon, like I suggested. Even if you could get your arms around the silver backs neck, Idoubt you could generate the force neccessary to strangulate it.

Ok, I’ll bit, I don’t know why, but I’ll bite.

I agree. The only problem is that this is 50 “average men.” It is going to take a lot of doing to get one, let alone 49 men to listen to you long enough through the screams of agony and terror to really get a solid plan built up.
I could definately see the Gorilla ripping everyone to peices.
The odds are fair to possibly good for those 50 unarmed men to take down a silverback. However, the odds are still extremely grim for those 100 unarmed men to take down that adult male grizzly.

You couldn’t just mob a gorilla like a bear.
Ummm, you think a bear would be easier to mob than a gorilla? Bears are not fat cuddly things. They can outrun horses, have claws on all 4 limbs, and unlike herbivorous gorillas they are accustomed to gutting large mammals.
Also anything but a black bear will be considerably larger than a gorilla. A silverback wouldn’t last 5 seconds against a grizzly.
And besides . . . gorillas have tiny penises. Advantage: bear.
Back on topic, 50 men could easily defeat a gorilla, as long as they’re determined enough. If they believe that being mangled in glorious gorilla combat will get them an afterlife complete with 72 virgins, the gorilla is toast.

Most bears can be fast, for extremely short periods of time. A gorilla can maintain speed.
No one has been able to measure the strength of a gorilla, but all the assumptions in various things I’ve seen lead it to anywhere between 10x-50x the strength of a single man.
Take the typical size of an adult male, which would be 5’7" 380, and add in the fact that they can essentially leap 15+ feet, and the hypothetical 50 guys are all fucked. You’re not going to have the strength to immobilize a gorilla, even if you get 10 guys ontop of it.
Which is why I like my original idea, building a ladder out of the corpses while the remaining keep the gorillas attention and climbing out.
The 50 men would obliterate the gorilla. Gorillas are not that strong – “Some people say that a silverback male is ten times stronger than a man while others claim a silverback is 27 times stronger. However, neither argument has been proved. A gorilla male probably looks much stronger than he actually is, as he doesn’t have that much more muscle tissue than humans.”
They aren’t aggressive, they aren’t fast, they can’t communicate. Like most animals they will withdraw when injured and a dominance hierarchy has been established. They attack by biting, almost always in the rump or leg which is dangerous but not exactly automatically lethal – and definitely not an optimal attack when facing 50.
No gorilla would even attempt to attack 50 humans no matter how average they were and how angry it is.
When I was little [7or 8] my folks and I took a trip to Little Rock, Arkansas. We visited the zoo there, which is pretty famous I guess. There was a huge pit with a single male silverback chillin doing his own thing.
Out of nowhere he lets out the most intimidating roar I’ve ever heard and runs over to the solid steel door that can only be opened from the other side. He starts punching the shit outta the door, making DENTS in it. 100’s of people were crowding around the pit to see what was going on, and my mom and I watched the whole thing from the begining.
Every time he hit the door, it sounded like someone was firing bricks out of a potato gun at it. To a 7 yr old kid, NOTHING could have been cooler.
I watched a show where lions were attacking an elephant. It wasnt full grown but it was close to full grown, still 3 tons. About 10 lions got the elephant down and it was over from there. Now the lions just basically ate the elephant alive, its dimensions were too big to get a stranglehold on the neck.
My point is, 50 men should be able to kill any land predator, tiger, lion, bear, even polar bear which are the biggest. Once they get it down they should be able to gouge its eyes jump on its head/throat and over all squash it.
Of course this would mean the men on the bear at the bottom of the pile would be killed and mauled but you do what you have to…

Where are you getting this information? Are u just assuming? There is no way in hell I would ever believe that something that weighs 400 pounds with almost all the muscle mass located above the hips doesnt have more muscle mass than even the biggest bodybuilders. What does it have a bodyfat% of 50?
