How about you join the Marines, so I can LEAD you into battle, as I will be doing at some point as a 22 year old Lieutenant.

Before you can lead anyone you would need to be someone others would even care to follow. Your rank alone won’t even earn your respect in the military outside of protocol. Throwing it around at civilians just makes you seem that much more childish.

And I have what it takes to be a respected leader, because I’m intelligent enough to know to follow my NCO. My point was that this guy is taking potshots at me, but isn’t doing the real deal.

You know what they say? One motivated man is worth more than 10 unmotivated men.

And if anyone else who posted in here can run 3 miles in 18:40, I’d be happily surprised.

The “real deal.” HAHAHAHHAH

Wow, you’re a fucking douche and an arrogant one at that. Nobody who says “I have what it takes to be a respected leader” EVER earns my respect. Don’t be surprised if others follow the same suit.

Jump off a cliff.

Yeah, “the real deal” as in, signed the papers and committed to military service.

You can shout your insults from the stands while I make the plays on the field.

Whatever.
Catch a bullet.

You will pose a real threat to yourself and others in Iraq. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of your soldiers shot you in the back. Adjust that attitude before it gets someone hurt.
What the fuck is wrong with you?

By the way, many soldiers don’t have much muscle at all. They are literally 140 lbs of skin and bone. Ever watched Company of Heroes or War Stories?

These guys aren’t huge. I’m just saying…

My goals are just not in line with the mindset of the forum memebers, I guess.

No, they aren’t. Are you even active duty? If not, you sound like a raving dumbass. Even if you were, I would expect more from someone who had made it in. There are quite a few active duty who do take weight training seriously. While they may not be anywhere near the majority, to believe they aren’t out there in good numbers is ridiculous.

For future info, they hold bodybuilding contests in the military and are often featured in those magazines at the store. Baffling, isn’t it?

I definitely understand that and know that there is a minority of guys who make that a priority, but my point is still valid. There’s really nothing to be so mad about. I didn’t insult anyone to begin with, however, I was attacked.

You weren’t really attacked until your true attitude became apparent. You aren’t active duty…yet you are throwing around some “possible future rank” at the people on this forum. That is reason enough to get “attacked”. I can guarantee that if you treated any enlisted with the same attitude, you may just find yourself alone when in need of help in your “possible future”.

You haven’t made much progress at all. In fact, it looks like you went backwards and THAT should be what you are aware of. No one is falling for you making drastic changes in body comp. Along with that, no one here is afraid of your “possible future rank”.

You wanted applause. You aren’t getting it, are you?

5 pounds in 5 months? sweet jesus man how is that possible? ive lost 102 pounds in 9 months… and honestly at this point its become habit and i dont even have to try anymore, i just eat healthy which is normal for me now and get to the gym every week.

you can be big and still run, muscle doesnt make you slow…

oh and is your nickname supposed to stand for hugedick? seems like it

I weigh 160 lbs, compared to 165 before, but the difference in body composition is noticeable.

I have to say im not impressed. If your goal was to lose 5 pounds you should of been able to do it in 5 weeks…losing a pound a week! 5 months to lose 5 pounds?? I dont really get that

I understand what you’re saying, but I started out at 165, gained some weight, then ran/lifted/dieted my way down to 158/160 and I look different.

I should have included a before picture of my stomach; that would have shown the difference more accurately, maybe.

I’m sorry that my attitude came off the way it did, but I guess that was my response to feeling attacked. Praise was not exactly what I was looking for, and I definitely didn’t get that, but what I did get surprised me.

Probably because you’ve only been a member since July and only have 14 posts. If you had spent a little more time on the board you would have known better.

As to your pictures. It does appear as though you leaned out a bit. But it really doesn’t appear that you gained any muscle. The reason why? Going from “very little” to “very little plus a little” isn’t going to show up in pictures.

This place is unfriendly in nature. Maybe it’s all the Alpha Male and TRIBEX going around? haha

I disagree with you guys. Maybe i am just not seeing it. But i think he looks the same. I don’t think he regressed.

Just a tip though. I was talking with a successful businessman one day about goals. He told me “If you never make goals for yourself, you will never hit them.” That happens alot in life, especially in weightlifting.

It seems to me that you probably didn’t have a goal to shoot for. Thats step 1.

Step 2 - …

Step 3 - Profit!
