I kind of want to try V-Diet, but at the same time I’m forced to run and exert myself during the week. Im in college and can do a great Paleo diet during the week. But our cafeteria closes during the weekend. So I was wondering, could you do Paleo until say Friday evening and then start the V-Diet until sunday evening? I’m just really curious to try this for some reason but I thought I’d get a group opinion first.
You can do that but then it won’t truly be either one. It would be the Tyrus69 diet. Just give it a shot. Its not like its gonna kill you.
The V-Diet is for people that want quick fat loss and are willing to “suffer” (for lack of a better word) to get said quick fat loss. It also is a stepping stone to teaching people that food is not something that has to be enjoyed all the time. Yes, you can live without stuffing yourself.
If you have the ability to stick to the Paleo diet on the weekdays (which does take willpower) you will be ahead of the game. Adding in the weekends of V-Diet is not bad and it will give you (probably) a quicker fat loss than just a strict paleo diet, IMO.
take away the fancy names and you have a high protein low carb diet…

Who made a rule in which you can’t run on a protein sparing modified fast?
I ran 4 or 5 times per week for 30 minutes a shot during my last stint of the Rapid Fat Loss Diet, and that diet’s more restrictive than the V-Diet.

Diet is by far the most important facet in bodybuilding, and health in general, so making strides in the right direction is never going to hurt. I think this is a good step in the right direction, but it all depends on your goals.
Are you trying to gain, lose?
