What I would give to have to struggle to gain weight. I am sure that both sides of it are a curse, but i am tired of this side of the loin.

Well - I haven’t been eating for shite, meals are spotty and been going hungry during the days, trying to gorge at night to make up.
I stepped on the scale last night - first time in a while - and it told me I weigh 197. I think I might be able to make up the next three pounds over the deload as my energy output will be less - and my appetite is coming back.[/quote]
Up to 197 while “eating for shite” seems pretty good to me. you were 180 something just a couple of months ago.

It is good definitely. I think it has something to do with the training frequency, moving almost not at all during the day and eating larger meals at night just before bed. I’ll eat dinner when my wife gets home and then another dinner with 4 16oz glasses of whole milk interspersed in there - all in about a 5-6 hour time span. And then I go to bed.
I like to think of it as living like a lion.
Working the same muscle groups 3-4 times a week has one of two effects for me: I start putting on muscle (in the presence of food) or I get really burned out. Sometimes it’s a see-saw between the two. I saw this same effect on the “Rock, Iron, Steel” program during which I did two exercises 7 days a week plus assistance stuff sprinkled throughout. That one took me from 165/170 to 180 bodyweight and went long enough that it became a set point. I think the same thing is happening now at around 195. If I can add a lunch and breakfast I might actually top 200 lbs in the next few months.
The thought of food in the morning actually makes me nauseous though. Always has as long as I can remember.
what about cookies and a huge shake of some sort?

Ironmind Rolling Thunder
100 10x2 sets
125x1
135x1 (10 lb PR)
125 1x4 sets
Left hand is stronger than right on these. Something is messed up in my right hand.

Yikes. That makes your strength gains that much more amazing. I down 32 oz of water the first hour I am up. I can’t eat for a couple of hours, but nothing compared to your predicament.
I have the same problem with eating when I get up. But not drinking. So I’ve started to just making myself the following concoction for breakfast:
2 scoops Grow!
2 scoops Superfood
5 drops liquidex (3x/week, total 15 drops/week)
fruit (usually about 5-10 blackberries or 10 blueberries plus 5-10 strawberries or 10 raspberries. Sometimes I’ll throw in half a banana if I need the carbs)
Just enough water to get that blended, and then 5-6 ice cubes, and blend again.
I can down that easy, gives me a pretty good breakfast, and lets my gut wake up the way it likes to: without a ton of food first thing in the morning.
I have that usually around 7:30-8am, and I have a solid snack (fruit, nuts, or some meat) around 10-10:30am.

I’m 100% with you on that, LS! Hopefully my immersion test Thursday will prove to me that this extra 15lbs isn’t all lard. ![]()
Skidmark is getting fat…lost your abs yet?
Wish I had your appetite(or lack of it) in the morning. I can’t stop eating once I put something in my mouth.
6 mile bike ride
Sprinting for soccer balls to keep them in play x lots.
Right medial glute and lower back are getting stronger, I can feel them more on the bike ride. I may see some improvement in deads and squats if I get that hip working around 90% again. I’ve pretty much been driving the weight up with my left leg and buttock the last two years. Right side has been along for the ride, but not contributing much.
I run like a 3-legged wombat, but at least I can still outrun an 11-year-old.

Can see the top 4 clearly, bottom two are a little blurry, but it’s hard to see from the glare of my flawless albino skin.

Did you ever get a bike that fits you?
Funny - I’ve never really felt my glutes on my rides, mainly the quads.

No - still pummelling my chest with my knees. I’m going to keep at it with this bike - I like the results.
I have similar eating stuff as you…
I actually have to remind myself to eat- or I wont.
In the Am its easy the PM its hard.
AM is like 32oz water asap then coffee
breakfast- then second breakfast at coffee break
lunch then it slows down and I cant eat.
its work to eat this much!!!
Im hovering around 180- the only way I can stay at 180 is if Im a little soft
If I can get to 185 or 190 and still feel very conditioned-agile Ill do it.
I can put on fat easy but muscle comes more dearly.
Those heavy DL singles are big time.

I like the results of that session. Traps, upper back and lats got more work than usual. I think working that range of weight for multiple singles or reps will have beneficial effects. Doesn’t tear up my lower back like 90-100% does.
Any albino’s here looks around
KMC it has been any empty void last few days. Few posts from anyone. I have been lonely.
I’m following the “Not Doing Shit” deload plan - so nothing to write. Apologies for worrying anyone.
