Hi guys, I just joined T Nation. I cut it short:
I play football (soccer) and I want to do the 5/3/1 BBB two days a week, with every workout being a whole body workout.
So here is my routine, which I just created:
Day A
Squat 5/3/1
Bench Press 5/3/1
Row exercise 5x10
Dip 4x8
Superset: EZ Curl + Push-Up 5x10
Core work
Day B
Deadlift 5/3/1
Overhead Press 5/3/1
Chin-Up 4x8
Incline Bench Press 5x10
Superset: Tricep Pushdown + DB Lateral Raise 5x10
Core work
I’m not sure whether the assistance work is too much. What do you think?
Cheers
Looks OK. Just give it a go. If you can recover from it then you’re fine
PS: any suggestions for improvements are highly appreciated

There are plenty of 5/3/1 variations that schedule lifting twice a week.
I saw some of them, but I actually want to hit every muscle 3 times a week, what isn’t possible while training just 2 times a week In-Season. That’s why I want to train each muscle at least 2 times per week.

This program on T-Nation has a twice-a-week variation for an in-season athlete.
