I think you’re forgetting everyone is different. Not to mention there’s other factors at play. Work schedule, nutrient timing, circadian rhythms, etc.

If folks can get in their recommended 6-8 hours of sleep a day, I don’t think it greatly matters when they train.

Plenty of people have gotten jacked working out at all times of the day, and plenty of people have gotten jacked working in 4-6 week periodization blocks.
