4 Weeks On, 4 Weeks Off Cycles

I didn’t want to create a new topic but was wondering, I took my BP reading today and it came out as 154/96. This is obviously very high, however my was around 75 which is lower than normal.

My question is, can the cuff size of the machine affect BP that much or is my BP actually that high? I must say that when the machine measures, the cuff does get very tight and then a large pulse is felt in my arm after.

Does anyone have any experience with a normal cuff vs larger cuff during BP readings?

I’m currently not using anything but my TRT.

I’ve wondered the same in the past also.

Found this brief article which may be of interest?

Yes iv had issues with small cuffs giving high readings altho if it’s one of those machines in stores the cuff are usually pretty damn big. My problem comes from when doctors try to use a normal arm cuff wrapped tight around me then realize they need a leg cuff.

I saw the same articles. I may need to retry with a bigger cuff. Its a very old machine that I bought years ago and the cuff is tiny, it squeezes the arm very tight even on the loosest setting. @jaykay @zeek1414

Are there any other signs to look out for for high BP? It shouldn’t be that high.

Headaches, nose bleeds. A lot of times tho high blood pressure comes with absolutely zero sides.

I have found recreational cialis keeps my blood pressure perfect when blasting.

Def get a bigger cuff and to really get an accurate idea take your BP 3 times a day for 3 days. it’s when it’s consistently high that it becomes an issue.

Dang that is really high for someone in shape. Did you try the other arm? I believe if your bicep is over 16" you pretty much have to use a large cuff for an accurate reading.
A really good BP med is 1mg Doxazosin. It also has a nice side effect of improved vascularity.

Hey boss. It most certainly effects the readings and if the cuff is to small it will give you false high readings. Most over the counter cuffs are designed for a maximum 16" arm. You can purchase other cuffs for larger arms. Ive discussed this with my endo and her nurses. The most accurate method is manual. We tested it at the docs office and verified that my BP was not 134/70 or whatever it was reading but actually 114/59 with 66 bpm.

I checked it last week and it was at 147/87, so slightly elevated but not something I would jump up at. But this new reading is crazy high. @zeek1414

Agreed, my cardio isn’t the best but its certainly not the worst either so it is quite alarming. I really do not want go down the blood pressure medication route, usually its long term, I’d much rather back off AAS than add BP meds in. @hrdlvn

Hopefully I can get in to see my damn doc soon, seems to never have an appointment. @alldayeveryday

Have you donated blood lately? High BP is the first sign HCT is over 50%. Before I blast I always donate a pint of whole blood that has always kept my HCT in check.

I was due to donate after my first 4 week blast. @hrdlvn

Just wanted to drop a quick update on the short cycle. About 12 days in right now and not the biggest fan of my choice of compounds. The injectable superdrol/tren base mix is painful it burns going in and the pip in delts is harsh. When pinned in glutes it has given me a 50/50 chance of getting the worse tren cough iv ever experienced imagine tren ace x10 even when mixed with the test, mast, tren E. Also the guaiacol has the nastiest taste it leaves in the back of mouth for about 30mins. The sdrol has also given me some lower back aches and back of legs altho its mainly just in morning after sleeping or if I sit for a long period of time then get up.

The positives-I look amazing the superdrol has me ridiculously full but dry. The strength from the sdrol is ridiculous I don’t lift for strength but wieghts I normally hit 12-14 reps with I’m hitting 18 and stopping myself to prevent joint/tendon injury. The pre workout effect is also great huge pumps and vascularity where I haven’t noticed it before. Major cns stimulation from the tren base for about 6-8 hours after pin I have learned to make this enjoyable but for some it could lead to major anxiety.

Going to finish the cycle I don’t like starting something and not finishing it but I doubt il run this mix again for a short cycle. The pros and cons are about equal which makes it overall not bad but not great and for someone who isn’t competing I like to get enjoyment out of my blast.

The more I hear about superdrol, the more I want to try it.

Out of dbol, anavar and superdrol, which one would you recommend I try first for strength?

I def don’t think anavar makes the cut when it comes to strength aas. I think it’s a great mild steroid that has low sides and offers some strength but if your looking to use something to compete then skip it.

I only used dbol for a short period but it didn’t give me much strength increase I did feel really good tho. Anadrol gave me some strength but not like sdrol I also only used that for a couple weeks.

When I hear my buddies talk about ridiculous strength they tend to mention halo often. I was gonna give it a try but my understanding is it doesn’t offer much besides strength so I have skipped it for now.

The best thing to do is experiment with them all I think everyone will respond differently to compounds so it’s important to find what works for you but I would suggest sdrol or halo as a good place to start

Apparantly halo is so toxic you should not really be on it longer than 2 weeks?

Il probably get flamed for saying this but the whole liver toxicity thing is blown out of proportion. Not that orals aren’t toxic but people act like if you take more then 4 weeks of certain orals like halo or adrol your gonna go into liver failure. As long as your healthy and take your liver supplements you will be fine. I’m not suggesting run halo for 12 weeks but there’s nothing wrong with 4 weeks or using adrol for 6 weeks etc

But yes halo is very toxic as is superdrol i have before labs and will have after labs on the 26th too post and show what 30mg/day did to me.

Superdrol. It’s genuinely stupid how strong you get, how you feel pumped all day, and how you wake up the next day and feel like you could hit the same body part hard again because the recovery is so good. It’s probably why it’s so toxic. Nothing that good can come without a huge downside.

100% agree. If you don’t drink and you’re not putting you liver under daily stress (like eating lots of sugars or simple carbs that make your liver work overtime) then six weeks isn’t going to kill you vs four weeks. (Assuming doses are reasonable and you monitor how you feel, stay hydrated, etc)

Im intrigued by superdrol and anadrol. Have you used both? @zeek1414 @iron_yuppie

Whats the lean mass gains like? Im not concerned with strength too much, more so keepable gains.

How do they compare to Dbol? Which makes me feel like superman.

So I only used dbol and anadrol for a short period of time. I had won a contest from a reliable lab but part of it was to give a review on products so I used dbol for a couple weeks and adrol for a couple weeks then a week of both together. Dbol made me feel great didn’t do much for strength or size for me. I didn’t run into any bloat issues or negative sides. Adrol blew me up in 2 weeks much like superdrol is now and like superdrol it’s not a wet blow up which is nice it was a dry fullness.

I really enjoyed the week of dbol and adrol I used dbol twice/day and adrol pre workout. I felt great and looked great. That will be my next short blast after 4 weeks off at the end of this cycle.

I think a lot of gains and size made in short amounts of time on these orals is glycogen and nitrogen retention but I think a few pounds of lean keepable muscle is possible in a short time. Or if it’s someone who is not as developed they could probably make more or if someone is really eating like a horse. I eat around maintenance and gain slowly now but I prefer that so I don’t have to spend months cutting after i did the bulk/cut thing as a natural for years and it just started to wear on me mentally.

I’m working on a model program as a compendium to this thread, and @zeek1414 the basis is pretty much what you just said.
