3x BW Squat

I’ve had a crazy 2.5 year journey with lifting. Longer and more complicated than i can explain in a couple hours. So happy to show this video to the world. finally feel like im getting somewhere with this. Depth was not perfect (would not pass in some feds) but i dont compete in any strength sports right now anyway. Check out my squat! if interested in the programming i’ve used just ask. a coule weeks ago i decided to take smolov for squats and do all the days consecutively, with no rest days. i proceeded to not take a light week after, and have added 55lbs to my squat in about a month. 2 years ago when squatting the first time, i squatted 275 lbs.

Love the intensity man. That’s a great squat, and the progress you’ve made in 2 years is tremendous.

Keep up the great work, and I’m sure people would be interested in reading a brief summary of your programming the past 2 years.

That was awesome. Great work. What a grinder! You earned it.

Nice job, that is something to be proud of

Awesome work.

Thanks, took a alot of work. I’m sure people on this forum understand that though, haha

As I said in the other thread, strong squat.

Lol at the consecutive-day Smolov vs others who say they can’t get through the normal one without using twice the rest and <90% of their max! Good effort.

fucking insane man. I remember the last post you put up, when you were doing those crazy high rep squats. Really strong guy, congrats on the great squat.

Great work well done…oh and the depth looked good to me

Awesome work. Love the intensity! Thanks for the motivation.

Awesome, obviously you have a good recovery protocol to be able to handle that kind of daily work, mind sharing what you do mobility/sleep/diet wise? Anything special or non-typical?

yeah dude. I optimize my recovery. I have certain supps i take. i make sure to get good sleep, and i have my roomate walk on my back a couple times a day. This back walking thing might sound crazy, but they all do it in china. My old coach Jianping Ma used to walk on it every day, and he taught me how to do it in great detail. I think that helps alot. I dont work on mobility that much tbh, i let the bar force me into position. the depth on this squat isn’t too great, but i can hit much better depth if i want to. I eat a ton of fatty meat (ground beef, bacon, etc.) I drink 2 gallons of milk a day most of the time. I focused on mobility alot for awhile when i was focusing on the olympic lifts while at Lindenwood University (which is a training Mecca) I do alot of intermittent fasting and try to focus my food in that window post training and before bed.

also, i eat alot of peanut butter. i hardly ever drink. not sounding hoity toity i just dont do it, and i think that helps recovery. also my favorite supplaments are creatine monohydrate (which i only use during bulking times) Tribulus (the cheap stuff) DHEA (also cheap) and animal pak. i use those “test” supplements, even if they’ve been shown to not help. i figure hell, why not
