The cholesterol/sat. fat hypothesis is a myth.

Do you not believe that eggs contain fat/cholesterol? Or are you saying that it isn’t bad for you?

The latter. Neither cholest nor sat. fat.

Big Lou was right. Dave Tate has said similiar things as well.

The human body produces it’s own cholesterol, it’s non-essential. And doctors have been saying that a diet that is HIGH in saturated fat is bad. Whatever that means, I don’t know. If you are huge I guess 32 eggs isn’t a problem, but I recall learning that the perfect ratio of sat. fat in the diet is 1/3 to 1/3 mono and 1/3 polyunsatured fats.

little chemistry lesson here…

cholesterol is a sterol
testosterone is also a sterol

cholesterol is a building block of testosterone…

cholesterol can be found in anything including plants; when I worked at a vitamine E extraction plant we isolated 4 sterols from the product stream and yes one of them was cholesterol; btw the vitamine E was extracted from soybeans…

I eat a dozen egg whites every day. You can put all kinds of stuff on them, so you can get a large variety of flavor. The gas with just the whites isn’t explosive, but people know I’m there.

Dietary cholesterol doesn’t affect the serum cholesterol much in reasonable amounts. If you are eating 20 eggs (with yolk) a day, your cholesterol is going to go up, a good bit. It will probably increase your risk of cardiovascular disease as well.

dude,

If I was going to eat 32 eggs a day, I’d make sure everytime i had eggs that day, they would be prepared differently.

Breakfast - Omellete
brunch - over easy
lunch - hard boiled
dinner - salsa eggs (mix in some salsa when the eggs are close to being done, if you put it in too soon, the eggs won’t cook, too late, and the salsa is cold, I like putting a little sour cream in too).

Chop up some potatoes fairly fine, and get them good and crispy, and mix them in with scrambled eggs, and you’ll thank me. Taters are fairly cheap too.

Mix in cheese, onions, red peppers, get hot sauce, steak sauce is pretty good, I really like sour cream. just go crazey. It’s like Bubba from Forest Gump, you can eat eggs a whole lot of different ways.

If you’ve got bread, toast it, and slap an over hard in the middle with a cheese slice and maybe some ketchup and you’re good.

Also, I’m in University too, a really good and cheap way to eat is the dollar store, you can find good chili and other stuff there, canned tuna, etc etc, and well… it’s all a dollar.

Pasta noodles are like 97 cents a bag, just find some cheap sauce and you’re laughing.

It’s easy to keep a grocery bill around $20-$30 a week if you really work at it, and this is still eating a butt load of protein and fairly clean as well.

Good luck man.

He ate it raw. Shell and all.

Guy who works at the gym I go to has been bulking up for a while, he’s at 320lbs - eating 150+ egg whites a day.

I think he said he was going to cut when he reaches 336 =p
