nice work.

On another note, thanks for the pep talk. It really inspired me to think wow, America is great. This country is abound with neocons and gun lovers whose obsession with America’s greatness is only surpassed by their adoration of the NRA. Next time instead of saying how great America is, think how can one country, full of people who are similar in nature to people all over the world, be the best. Why does “god” bless America, and not Algeria or Sudan. Use your brain, and don’t accept the lies that are thrown around for multitudes of reasons.

[/quote]

Stupid post. One can say America is the best because of the way in which we choose to govern ourselves - and the freedoms inherent in said governmen - that can’t be found in the vast majority of other nations. This is also an opinion. It is NOT the same as saying AmericANS, as people, are the best, implying other people are inferior, which is what you seem to be thinking.

And saying “God Bless America” is not saying “God has Blessed America”, and not other countries, but rather a request for God to Bless America. See the difference?

I agree with you - you need to use your brain next time you choose to make a poor attempt at regurgitating some leftist anti-American propaganda.

BP Gorilla - entertaining as always. Nice work. And sorry for the hijack; sentiments like that just piss me off.

EDIT - just looked at the poster’s profile and he’s a 15-year old kid. They get spoon-fed this shit nowadays, buyt he has time. Ah well.

Great lifting but on the other hand you are an idiot as well.

a nation under God… News flash there is no God

Being liberal doesn’t make you un-american, and making political statements in a video like this is always going to bring about someone disagreeing one way or another. Asking for it.

I’m just glad I am protected (sort of) by the 1st amendment and I’ll use my 5th amendment rights and plead the fifth.

I would like to know which God and which religion, LOL.

May the god of your choice bless you.

You are off your rocker, but very strong none the less. Awesome job on the reps.

D

That was 315 x 12, not 24. False advertising. It is still a pretty good set.

On the other hand, long live the NRA!

I named the founding documents, quoted the Declaration of Independence, stated the 2nd amemndment, and again quoted the National Motto.
Those are the documents our republic lives and operates by.
Almost all the words in that “speech” were written or penned by someone who helped establish the United States of America.

Just something to think about.

Thanks Dedicated
Just having some fun and trying to be entertaining while lifting weights. Just watching someone lift can be a litlle dull at times so I try and add a little fun to the videos, this was was for the 4th of JULY!
I love my Country…GOD BLESS THE USA!

Thaks Chewie

I never said it was consecutive or in 2 sets. Just 24 reps.
So it is just a matter of sematics.

Have a great day!

Yeah but BP you gotta see how everyone else sees it. I can say I squatted 2100lbs yesterday when I did 3 singles of 700. Its not untrue but its truer to say I did 700 once or for three sets of 1 just as its truer to say you did 315x12.

I mean this because I often enjoy your videos as our bench strength is very close. When I saw this thread I was like holy shit he’s got me by over a dozen reps, impossible. I watched the video, from rep 1 I knew you weren’t going to get 24 in that set; so I was relieved from that standpoint when you racked at 12. Not being critical of you as you’re hella strong but just suggesting you semanticly rephrase future videos.

BTW, ever try a rep out with 315 and your 2 board? I got 22 the other day after hitting 435 off the same 2 board and missing 455. I’m guessing you’d be around 23-25 yourself

Thank you for a thoughtful post!
I see you point of view, but I did not post that I had lifted 7560 lbs in the Bench Press just that I did 24 reps.
Either way is fine with me, but I do see your point.
Oh and I WILL try that 315 2 board burnout. That seems like a great tricep exercise. Thank You for the idea, it sounds like a BLAST!
I will video it and try to post it after my next bench workout!
Again Thanks for the nice post and have a great day!

Yeah even on ME day I always like to give myself that rep out challenge test. It really makes you grind them out.

yes it does. Feeling entitled to what you don’t earn, and a welfare/nanny state with restrictions on personal freedoms is about as unamerican as it gets.

Zep, aren’t you still in high school?

Placing restrictions on personal freedom makes you un-American, yet you’re telling him something he’s not allowed do, or not allowed be.

What does that make you?
