315 lbs x 42 Rep Squat

that makes my back and balls hurt.

LMAO at two minutes. Dude lunging in the background.

That set of squats and triple dose of Surge equals the most anabolic thing ever.

To lifter in the first video: With such a great strength and stamina, I guess you can easily outperform me!

180kg x 20 reps.

I can’t even imagine what 42 reps feels like. I think 20 reps are bad enough…

I was wondering when you would show up in this thread, haha.
I made a comment on his video, and he said he has outperformed me at least on 10 different occasions already, and that he will film it the next time and put a video online of it, I look forward to that. He is a lot stronger than me, so it should be no problem for him to outperform me. So I just have to continue. 42 reps is insane. I think 20 reps are bad enough! His legs must have hurt like hell at the end of that 42-rep set! Hell, everything must have hurt like hell. I guess he felt rather fried afterwards. Funny thing is, if someone put a gun to his head, he’d probably have done even some more reps from the looks of it, but that he can only answer himself. No matter how you twist or turn it, it was an amazing feat of strength. Not many can do that!

With a belt and wraps prolly could have been 500lbs at 20 reps.

With a suit, belt and wraps 550lbs at 20 reps.

Wow.

It would be amazing just so see someone do a 20 rep set in a suit lol
Agreed it would be something like this:

Cant feel your legs (check)
Face exploding (check)
Passing out(check)
Noticing at rep 5 that there is no way you are going to finish 20 reps (priceless)

I think with some one ply briefs he would be able to up the weight, but otherwise 20 reps with suit on (straps up 2ply) is impossible.

Definitely possible in a single ply suit with straps up. Anything more gangster than that is pushing it.

Dude. What is this single-ply I always hear of?

What those not gangster enough for their briefs wear instead.

Wowsers!

You’ve obviously never worn a tight single ply suit.

Hi everybody. I’m the guy in the video. Thanks for the compliments.

I don’t think what I did is all that amazing, though, because very few people actually try to train for high rep squats. I bet if you took a 1000 pound squatter and put 315 on his back, he could keep going all day long.

Yes, I think I could do more reps, but no, I’m not going to try it. One time is enough! LOL! If you look at me after the 42nd rep, I’m wobbling a bit, and when I went down for the 43rd one, I lost my balance, which is why I dropped the weight.

The 405 video should be up in a couple weeks. My back is not 100% now so I can’t attempt it.

That was badass. That reminds me of a guy who did 220x98 (his bodyweight), it was also quite mindboggling.

Oh I have…but Iv also worn tight multiply gear. Multiply will raise your tolerance for pain considerably.

Oh, I see. Well I guess Predators make me pretty gangster then.

Not having a go, but is the Viking you wore in that vid you posted recently “tight” by your standards…?

Very good job, impressive work. Have you ever done any rep work on deads? I was very impressed with your ability to recover as you got tired by just standing up for a few seconds, most people can’t do that. Anyway, nice job. Do you compete?

Not really…but even loose multiply gear is going to crush you before you get many reps in…

Notice in my original post I said nothing about the tightness of the single ply suit

There’s a video of me deadlifting 600x9 with no belt here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lvLoiKL5Lo

I don’t think I’ve ever done more than 10 reps on the deadlift. My lower back is prone to injury and I don’t like to push deads all the way to where my form might suffer.

I’ve done strongman and a little powerlifting in the past. I’m currently training for my first bodybuilding contest. I’m about 8 months out. It’s a little discouraging hearing from people on this thread that I don’t look all that strong. :frowning: Hopefully I’ll be looking strong by contest time.

Nice work. That’s pretty nuts. I wonder if he is conditioned for endurance of if he has a wicked 1RM too.

He hides the fact that he is the strongest in the gym pretty well; just going on looks…

I know he can squat at least 655 deep

Not too bad I GUESS.

lol

Yeah, but he was wearing a belt in that one, gear whore!
This is hilarious to me. I almost NEVER wear a belt, so it was difficult for me to get used to it when I took that squat. I almost feel like I could have done more without the belt. The next time I try a 1 RM, I’ll do it beltless.
