Over at EFS, Matt Rhodes describes his experience using the Westside template over 3 sessions a week instead of 4. For example, over 12 weeks, you get in 9 ME SQ/DL sessions instead of 12. Does anyone else have experience with this? Did it work out?
I’m working long hours on little sleep and lifting at a gym an hour from home.
Analyze yourself and determine if you’re a fast lifter, if so you may get away with 2 ME days a week at the gym and additional assistance work on the weekends at home, all you’ll need is a bench and dbells. I personally do Westside 3 days a week but have only 1 squat day per week, cycling ME and DE days. Hope this helps.
I’ve been doing a 3 day Westside split for about half a year and every thing is going good. All my lifts keep going up, but i’m also new to powerlifting i’ve only been doing it one and half years.
