3 Best Biotest Supplements?

Being in college and having a tight budget, I’d like to know your take on the three best supplements (excluding whey & Surge & creatine because those three are staples).
Also, for those that tried it, does Carbolin 19 really lives up to the claims?

Well, much of the answer has to do with ones age and goals IMO. For me Flameout, REZ-V, and either HOT-ROX Extreme or Alpha Male depending on my goal or focus at that time.

D

Flameout should be a lifelong staple for everyone, IMO.

Here’s my article about why:

And here’s Charles Poliquin’s recent take on it:

I like creatine, and it’s inexpensive, but I’d put Flameout before it if on a tight budget.

Yeah, though it may be sacrilege to some, I’ll put general health on the top of my list…

Flameout
Rez-V
Goal based

Flameout
BCAAs
ZMA

“Goal based”, I’m not familiar with that one Vroom, do you have a link to a write-up on it?

You’re kidding right? My sarcasm meter is off today.

Carbolin 19 put on seven lbs. of lean mass in 2 months. It took me from 172 to 179, it allowed me to break my plateau. Now at 198. My two cents.

Flameout is helping me stay lean
BCAAs seem to be helping with lean mass/recovery
REZ-V gives me peace of mind considering I also take Propecia

Thanks everyone for the replies, now I’m really considering Alpha Male (I hadn’t realized that it contained Tribulus & Carbolin 19).
Now with Alpha Male, would the effects be equivalent or better than Carbolin 19 like those reported by jre67t ??

For the Canadians out there, any place to get cheap Biotest supplements, because they usually double the price (and make hefty profits). SND Canada is way too expensive (and barely carry half of the good stuffs).
Thanks to all!

Flameout never occured to me when thinking about this subject because it has become such a staple to my diet, but I never go without it. Also BCAA, and Beta-7, I absolutely love Beta-7!

Yes, I’m kidding!

Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Instantized Whey Protein …

  1. Grow! proteins. Even the Grow! Whey, if strapped for cash, you know you’re still getting a good quality product for as cheap as something less effective, and it’s mild enough to cover with simple fruit in a blender. Metabolic Drive is very tasty. I look forward to my shakes. Good stuff…

  2. Surge. the addition of correct post workout nutrition made a LOT of difference in my gains. I try to ALWAYS have this stuff around.

  3. Tie- HOT-ROX and Flameout- I couldn’t decide between the two. Flameout to use all the time, as its great knowing the quality of your fish oils are good if you take a lot. Plus 4 caps is much easier than 14. But as far as fat burners go, Maximum Strength HOT-ROX is the best thing I’ve ever used.

Kubo

Edit- Just realized Im a moron and you said besides the first two. Hmmmmm. Well, they still stand for me as I like my food supps, but then I’d go with HOT-ROX, Flameout and Alpha Male. Oh, Im an ass…

ZMA, Flameout, REZ-V

1.) Surge. Love this stuff.
2.) Grow. Everyone needs their protein
3.) ZMA. More free T just from taking your vitamins.

Are you kidding here? You take full advantage of the endless amounts of top notch, FREE information on this site then use, and also encourage others to use, a product from another company? Especially when Biotest offers a superior whey product? Your $$ should go to Biotest, that is until Optimum provides a free website with cutting edge info, writers and products. Look up this word- “reciprocate”. Sorry to be harsh but this issue has been discussed more than once on this site.

Biotest’s strategy has been to draw attention to their products by providing awesome articles for free.

But don’t make them out to be saints, cause they ain’t.

Earlier on the supplement pimping/praise was contained to certain columns. Now every article (more or less) contains praise of their products.

I am not saying this to bash Biotest. They should make money from this site. But being loyal to them because they where smart enough to choose a novel buisness strategy is naive.

There’s a current thread with people complaining because we don’t talk about our products enough, yet we have people like this who claim that a few sentences in most articles telling people when and which of our products are best used in conjunction with a certain training strategy or diet is a bad thing.

Am I crazy or is this completely insane?
