I think the diet is leaning me out.
Never enough progress in the middle area ![]()
But my arms looks leaner.
^ way leaner. Good going.
Frenchie is spot on about the need to take lazy days to heal. Rest and recovery are very important parts of the equation.

Thanks, Patch.
Yes, I know about the rest days.
I have taken them. And still will.
Still debating about walking today. Tomorrow’s walk will be with my kids for Halloween, so it’s essentially a off day.
Hell ya on the arm, I see the vascularity starting to come out!

Sunday - 10/30

Nice work on the diet! Good for you! Its like my guy said to me, “The fact that you only gained a few pounds after surgery means a lot” So the fact that you’re losing weight is impressive! Do you have an appetite, or are you just being hyper diligent? After my surgery I lost a good 8 pounds, but boy did I rebound once the appetite came back. lol!
And I echo what everyone else said about the rest days - altho I often didn’t take my own advice :l Its just so hard to go from 60 to 0! Its a mind-f*ck to say the least. Balance is key. I trust you know when to push and when to scale things back.
Keep healing up there, sir!

Wow, Masch stopped in!
Yes, I have an appetite, lol.
I have been very diligent on my eating.
I have allowed cheat days/meals, basically when I have my kids.
That seems to work out about every 4 days.
I still watch what I eat.
I planned to use the down time from being able to lift as a refocus on my diet.
Yes, I have taken rest days. And I am trying to get a lot more sleep in.
Thanks for stopping in!

I was told it wold eventually, like in 5 years.
The mesh essentially forms scaffolding, and the muscle grows into it.
