2busy's Training Log of Solitude

Good luck with the hernia recovery. More and more, I keep feeling really privileged for being able to squat and DL at all.

Thanks, Cav.

I have been hurting some at the end of the day.

I’ll give walking another go this morning, drop the pace a little and go for more time.

dropping in as promised - good luck on the recover 2busy.

awesome transformation you’ve had.

Thank you, Frenchie!

Abs hurt. :frowning:

too many peeps are following your quest to call is a solitary journey. just saying.

Saw the doc this morning.

They put in a 10 cm by 15 cm mesh patch.

Doc said I can start doing ab work in 2 weeks.

Lifting in 4 weeks.

Yes, I noticed that too.

It’s a little more active then my first log.

I suspect it’s because I don’t post videos in here, lol.

I’d say you found a better group of people.

That is pretty cold going in shorts !!.

Time for some outdoor walking kit methinks.

Really nice to see walking posted as exercise.

That’s a good one. Never heard it before.

Frenchie, thanks for the phrase. It’s rather apropros.

Yes, Nurse, I need to hit the sporting goods stores and get some gear.

Thanks for checking in, Cav.

Skipped walking for Friday and Saturday.

I have a bit of internal pain.

Doc explained how the mesh is irritating the back side of the ab muscles and the internal organs.

The patch essential runs down the middle of my abs for the length of 15 cm/6 inches.

I’ll get a walk in tomorrow.

Sunday - 10/23

Treadmill walk @ gym

60 minutes, 4mph, Incline 3

4 miles covered 542 calories

Monday - 10/24

Observations:

1.) It feels just wrong to be only walking… :frowning:
2.) A lot of people walk for less then 10 minutes.

Tuesday - 10/25

Off day.

Pain on edges of diaphragm.

Wednesday - 10/26

Another off day :frowning:

give yourself time to heal 2busy. A couple of lazy days to rest up properly.

Yes, I know.

Walking for an hour appears to have pushed it.

Thursday - 10/27

Another off day.

The sharp pain at the upper right edge of the patch area that I was getting yesterday is a little less sharp today.

Occurs less too.

Yay
