Whereabouts in Jersey? My father in law is from Trenton. How did you end up in Omaha?

I have never thought of crossovers on a treadmill. Clever. [/quote]

I’m originally from Omaha, moved back home.

I was in Edison, about 30 miles north of Trenton on Rt 1.

I’m hoping doing them on the treadmill will help with doing them on the ice.

30 miles is a long way in New Jersey. I remember my first visit and we were going to ā€œpop upā€ to New York and it took forever. They look so close on the map! I relate better to Nebraska, where distances are more sensible.

Sunday 10-13-2013

1 hour of Hockey Scrimmage - 2 decent goals on a very good goalie.

Found out the what team I will be on for the upcoming winter season for hockey.

I didn’t get drafted by the captain I’ve been with for the last 2 years/4 seasons, apparently I got snagged much higher in the draft then he thought I would be.

The team’s name for this season is Unsportsmanlike.

Seems reasonable.

It depends on how you conduct yourselves.

Monday 10/14/2013 - C8W1 531 DL

Warmup - 5 minutes spin on bike, 90+ rpms 50% resistence

Dead Lifts

120 lbs x 5
150 lbs x 5
180 lbs x 3
195 lbs x 5
220 lbs x 5
250 lbs x 5

Supersetted with Squats

95 lbs x 5
5 sets of 135 lbs x 10 - focusing on fast reps and exploding from the hole. And yes, I went below parallel.

AB rollouts with the small yoga ball

5 sets of 20

Sauna for 20 minutes.

Saw some weird crap in the gym. Well I thought it was weird…

Anyone every see someone doing a deadlift while straddling the bar?

Sauna good…straddling the bar is bad unless you have really long arms. Otherwise I think it is a Darwin Award contender…

It’s called the Jefferson Squat.

I think the guy who was doing them could have gotten more out of having done his previous back squats without the bar pad and going to parallel.

0_o Interesting… I guess its a BB thing for trying to target specific muscles or something. And probably safer for a female to do them, rather than you fragile males.

Them’s fightin’ words, minimal. Granted we are all breakable in some fashion.

See, my arms are long enough I’m safe.

Correct, my US history, but I thought Jefferson was known for having lots of kids…

I spent a week in Alberta.

It was -2C and I was in shorts.

They asked if I wanted to immigrate…

Officially, I have him beat.

Un-officially, not so much.

It does tend to end first dates rather quickly.

We’re everywhere…where are you? Do you have the flu too?

Embrace the poutine. It lubricates the joints and protects the arteries from being stained from contact with the blood.

HAHA no! I do not currently have the flu. I am in the Edmonton area. I don’t know anyone that is sick right now, maybe it will reach us soon?
Should I be preparing myself? Last time I had the flu I watched flight with Denzel Washington and it made me feel sicker because he was an alcoholic and was always hung over/looking like shit.
…

2Busy where in Alberta were you??
