A month ago I pulled 220 lbs x 18.

I was done after that.

I had my Testosterone measured.

It seems my doc was reluctant to run the tests.

I asked several times that it was checked on the blood draw for my liver function tests from the meds for the TIA last year.

They still forgot to do it.

Went back in for another draw.

Results :

Free T 6.5 pg/ml

Total T 238 ng/dl

Doc said they’re fine.

I’m thinking they’re really low.

I had anticipated hitting 15 on the last set. :frowning:

In retrospect I think I had the bar too high on my shoulders.

Won the last game of the winter hockey season, securing the #1 position in this level of the league.

Playoffs start next weekend.

Busy with surviving the playoffs and trying to not get injured in the process.

Already had one impact head first into the boards thanks to a cheap shot.

Team was happy I didn’t go after the guy.

Well…

Out of the playoffs.

Last game ended in a 1-1 tie, lost in the shootout.

Then the goalie from the other team went on Facebook and bragged he sweep a goal out of the net before the ref could call it.

I seem to have a bruised rib from a cheap shot that put me into the boards pretty hard.

Tried doing deadlifts and did ok till I went past 225. Then I tried one pull and was done.

I’ll take a few days off and see if the pain subsides.

Rib pain is better. Just slight soreness on a deep inhale.

Did my hockey skills camp and a hour of pickup hockey after that.

Why I work at getting better…

I was at a nasty fight the other day, and suddenly a hockey game broke out.

Restarted 531

Had my body composition measured yesterday. Since last February:

Dropped 14 lbs of body fat
Added 7 lbs of skeletal muscle

And my body weight has remained the same…

Catching up on training logs.

My Cycle 4 of 531 fizzled in week 3 due to the amount of playoff hockey games I was in and injuries.

So I restarted it. Currently in week 2

Guy waiting for the squat rack said the last set was solid, and he rarely seen anyone doing deadlifts at the gym.

He then proceeded to work up to 495 lbs doing box squats.

No. Actually they are rare here.

That was it, shoulder hurt when I strated doing pullups so I stopped.

Treated myself to a 1/2 burger with bacon and a bunch of fries.
