Wednesday - 5/18

PLP 3x12, 1x11, 1x10 - lost track, lol

Hockey - 75 minutes. No goals. Close but that doesn’t count for anything…

Thursday - 5/19

PLP - 3x12, 2x11 - Really sore…

Friday - 5/20

Just hurt. Got to have my kids for an overnight stay for the first time in months.

Will just spend the weekend being Dad.

^Nice. Enjoy them.

And tell me more about this PLP challenge you are on. That’s a lot of push-ups, lunges, and pull-ups. It would get a sort of whole body circuit going. I’m a believer in BW stuff. Pull-ups in particular, are super taxing for me.

Oh, and hernia update. I do have one but it’s small and not an emergency. I’ll see the general surgeon on Monday to get the scoop.

This is what’s keeping me busy this weekend.

^^Adorable couple of monkeys up there! I’ll bet they can get into some shenanigans…

I haven’t had a hangover in a very, very long time. Not a lot of fun as I recall!

Hockey skills - 75 minutes

Ouch… I need a hot tub soak.

Your little boy totally looks like you. Little cherubs.
Well you definitely can’t be my brother, his kids are a brunette and a ginger. Although my sisters kids are blond, but you really don’t look like her. lol

Yeah hot tubs! I especially like them when it is cold outside and the hot tub is outside.

Thanks, CH!

I have a hot tub at my house. But since I can’t go there… I’m kinda screwed. Big surprise.

I hear a lot of comments that Hawthorne looks like a little blond version of me.

Yay for keeping your Hockey going.

LOL! about the hangover comment. That was Ironcross on my log talking about food and hangovers. Sorry. Designated drivers always feel better the next day. One of those gems we’ve learned!

Hawthorne. Love it. Manly name for him to grow into.

My lads all have good names, so do the lasses…

Nothing boring like Tom…

I have some funny videos on my iPhone from designated driving…

Wednesday - 5/25

Driving 7 hours to Ft Leonard Wood to bring my Marine son home for Memorial Day.

You are busy!

Figured it was time to stop by and say HI. Thanks for the kind words in my log.

Wow, thanks MiM!

Been doing a lot of article reading while waiting for my son’s liberty to be granted.

One I found very useful was:

I’ll admit one of the main reasons I work out is to try to make myself look better.

Granted, I want my hockey performance to improve too.

I really need to focus on leaning myself out more. That is a major issue I have always struggled with.

HOT-ROX has seemed to help a bit. I think I have gotten more vascular in my arms and shoulders.

Wish I could have gotten on that IG3 test, but I had other obligations.

Maybe on the next round I’ll be able to get on.
