Every person who says this doesn’t understand how hard it is to get “body builder big.” Plus, why limit yourself before you even start?
You’re going to be gaining fat when getting bigger no matter what. It happens. I can understand why you would be hesitant about that, but why lose weight before gaining still doesn’t make sense to me. If you are fearful about fat gains, do some complexes after workouts.
Also, what happens when you take creatine supplements?
i would advise you to do dead lifts, rows, and chin ups… You have nothing going on, on your lower back… As a result of doing those exercies for 6 months my back is looking like this at 5’7 179lbs

looking like this…?
What are we supposed to be looking at? Not trying to be offensive, but you don’t have a hell of a lot going on with your back either. Heavier deads and LOTS of pullups.
Oh well I’m sorry that your blind… I see lots of definition and cuts in my back… The amount that i have from only lifting for a year compared to what i looked like. If you havent seen my 14 month transformation that i have posted…

why do you come in this dudes forum trying to brag about yourself and boost your ego? While you may have “cuts” and “definition” as you put it, in your back its minimal and you still lack mass.

You’re 27 and look like “that”. I don’t think 3 days of lifting is enough. I’d bump it to 4 or 5.
…and dude’s pic of his stellar back is hi-fucking-larious. I should be bragging about my back, but I’m not a dick…[/quote]
Exactly. I normally would not just call someone out, mostly bc I couldn’t care less about how they look. However, if you are going to put down someone’s back and proceed to give them advice on how to get a super sweet back like you…your back should probably be super sweet. Just my 2 cents.

OP,
You look great man. Don’t look like a bodybuilder, but you look really fit. If your goal is to get bigger, you know what to do…eat more. I would say you would really benefit from training more frequently and using some heavy deadlifts and squats as well. Overall though good job man. Put the majority of every day people to shame.
Ok before anyone gets there panties in a bunch… This is RATE MY PHYSIQUE PHOTOS section right??? There for its for rating and what not… I didnt post my picture to be like hey my back is way more developed than yours… I was basically showing him what doing dead lifts chip ups and what not can do for your back is all i was doing… So quite badgering me, making me look like an a hole…

Sorry if i made it seem like i was discouraging him in anyway…I would never want to but someone down on there achievement they have or are trying to accomplish. I was once pretty fat and worked my butt off to get where i am at now. I personal love looking at other peoples pictures and seeing what they have done… It makes me motivated to work even harder.
Alright most people in this thread are being dicks.
OP, you have a pretty decent build right now and actually look a lot better than a lot of people on this site. You just need more size( Dont we all?) Just bump your calories up to 3,000 and start gaining.
And to the tool that posted that picture of his back… Your back sucks man.

I too did not mean to sound discouraging to you. I looked at your transformation and you did some incredible work. Good job.
I’d say my back is pretty good for only lifting for a year…
