Thanks guys and I will stick around. I have been a lurker for years just absorbing and learning. I have found some great information here over the years and hopefully now I can contribute back.

Did some stairstepper this morning with weight and it really got my quads tight. I hate to say this as it will probably bring hate, but for the last year I have only been lifting legs heavy once every 2 weeks as they were outpacing the rest of my body.

Bauber,

You are a real construction site, can’t wait to see the final product. As for the constant questioning of your size, a picture of a horse doesn?t look THAT big, and then you shit when you stand next to it!

I’m just an ol’ has-been never-was so take what I say as just my opinion, but damn there’s something under all of that. Once you trim down, your middle definition will come out and you will look bigger. You have a serious power lifter turned bodybuilder look to you.

By the way, I envy guys with nice calfs, I never had em. Keep me posted; can’t wait.

I am ready to see the final product myself done right and stage ready! And I definitely have my roots in powerlifting as I did that in high school and played football. Just in the last 2 years I have really moved over towards a higher volume bodybuilding type regimen.

Calves? Where? =D

Bauber, I have to say I’m a big fan. I like your attitude and how humble you seem to be. Also, laugh out loud at just posting the weighing video to shut people up. Nice work.[/quote]

Never a good idea to call my bluff, because I don’t bluff =D. And glad you enjoyed it! I would love to compare biceps with Ronald. That might have been a little arrogant, but all in good fun!

lol @ ronald with his 230 lbs. What a dick.

Aw, man. I’m only 240. :frowning:

Hey 240 is still damn big. My workout partner is roughly 245 and lean and he’s a big dude in my opinion.

@Marzouk, the last time I was 230 was roughly 5 years ago haha. Wonder if Ronald is going to show back up in this thread.

Just want to say that even more than your size and strength I’m impressed by how humble you are. Most people that I’ve met who lift walk around like they’re the second coming of Christ (I’m in high school). Also, sucks what happened to your fiance man. While I haven’t dealt with anything that bad, I have dealt with depression most of my life and for most of this year and last I was basically depressed to the point that I couldn’t even lift. Just think of the future man, and focus on the good in life.

Many thanks brother. I have my faults, but I am no better than anyone else. Keep on lifting if you can and keep your head up. Focus on what makes you happy and be the best person you can be. And realize bad happenings are relative to your situation. I focus on the present, the here and now. Life is about the journey and not the destination. I have no idea where I will be in 5 years, but I know I am going to enjoy the ride and enjoy the company of those around me. Life is too short to stay sad or depressed. As long as you are alive relish it and kick life squarely in the ass.

That isn’t to say you won’t have tough times. That is just part of life. But again thank you for the kind words and keep your head up. Have any questions or thoughts about your depression feel free to PM me. I have been there.

This is a few shots from my first show 3 years ago. I was still holding water and needed to be leaner, but I did my best for doing contest prep solo.

Oh and I weighed in at 245.8 for this show. The pics are a mix of prejudging and the night show

Then this is from a photoshoot for a local supplement store a couple months ago - just my favorite picture as of late

Props for stepping on stage but big guy you had a long long way to be stage ready. Like I said props though because many never will no matter how much they talk

That is for sure. I found that out first hand. I have been working on staying leaner throughout the entirety of the year to help with dieting down.

It’s a sad day when a monster like you is pushed to prove his weight by a bunch of douche bags on the internet. Awesome work and I’ll be following your log.

Keep it up man!

Just a side note, you remind me a lot of this guy:
