good log mate, loving your work . . . gonna be shredzilla by summer the way your going . . . what made you get up and go get it? Was you athletic in your youth? Have you been out of shape for years since, or did you pile all the weight on in a bad year or few?
what made me really get after it-- 2 things 1) tired of feeling like i am an embarrassment to my sons who are 11, 12, and 13 years old. rolling up to the school for their concerts and conferences and functions with titties. I want them to say thatās my Dad with pride not be ashamed. 2) Iām in sales. A fit man in my opinion is automatically more credible.
not athletic in youth. fat latch key kid. eating, tv, and video games.
As an adult Iāve been as much as 400lbs (2009) and as low as 185lbs (1997). Iāve lost and regained 100ās of pounds. Usually has to do with a woman. Breakup get fit, get into another relationship get fat.
1/2013 345lbs. 4/2014 226lbs.
9/2015 285lbs. 2/2017 234lbs.
4/2020 310lbs. 1/2021 225lbs
As you can see I am either going up or going down. Never figured out how to maintain.

Awsome bud, as others have said you back is looking pretty jacked already!! Youll be insane by the summer! Awsome you have sons who are into lifting too. my nephews are 11 and 9 but not into yet . . . but cant wait till they are and come to my garage gym.
One thing i was told once, and its stuck with me, and i dont know the science behind it BUT a previous fat person should be carefull when bulking as fat cells have a good memory - like muscles - and if you start upping the calories they have a tendancy to store fat quicker
as i said , i dont know the science behind it and its probably BS, but i like the saying and it helps me think twice when bulking - as it can personally take me 3months to loose what i can put on in a 2 week period!
