Looking really good. Your upper/lower (10x3, 5x5) approach is identical to mine. Also the selection of basic exercises. Could you perhaps make a more specific outline of your routine? Would really appreciate it. I might be training like you but I am nowhere near your level of strength…

Thanks for the feedback. Here is an example of what I’m doing right now for the next 4 weeks. I constantly change it up. Im going to start logging my workouts when I get a little more time.
Upper Body
Incline Bench Press 5x5
Weighted Pull Ups 10x3
Flat Dumbbell Press (palms facing in) 3x8
Bent Over Scalpia Row 2x12
Reverse Lat Raises Seated 2x12
Face Pulls 1x20
Lower Body
Deadlift 5x5
Squats 1x20
Barbell Reverse Lunges 4x8
Natural GH Raise 3x8 slow as possible
Thanks for the response bro. Do you feel that the upper/lower approach has benefited you more as opposed to more traditional bodybuilding programs when it comes to strength?

I’ve experimented a lot with different programs and so far the upper/lower split has definitely benefited more then a traditional bodybuilding program. Chad Waterbury and Eric Cressey both have great books and countless articles on this site that I;ve followed they deserve a lot of credit for my success.

Amen to that. I’ve started doing upper/lower splits lately and have gotten great results. Cressey is more known as the rehab guy but he really knows his shit about strength(and size usually follows) as well.
How lean were you to begin with compared to now? And along the way?
I have only begun to understand nutrition since coming here a year or so ago. I am 5’9" and for the first time trying to gain strength/size after dropping about 40 lbs. So I am interested in the dieting journey to go with your training journey.
Impressive physique, to say the least. Just out of curiosity, what’s your vertical? I think its interesting to see how high big squatters can jump. care to share?
you truly are a “specimen”; you look like the kid in jarhead but with 50lbs solid muscle on top lol. Good sh!t , keep it up ! chest is very good size, you’re lean, I would add an inch to the shoulders to give you that super broad look; u know so u have to walk into doors sideways haha. take care
