And your forearm is no joke either, in the first pic it looks like it’s nearly as big as your upper arm.

I think the more you exist in life the more you realise that to be truly good in almost any field you have to be a personality that kind of excels at whatever you put your mind to. Talent will only get you so far without application. I’m fairly sure if you look at the people that are the top 5% of the their field even in arts/acting/comedy/cooking and other fields where you expect it to be all raw talent, you’ll find the majority of them are highly intelligent and highly driven people.
Personally the guys I know at that top of their games (IT, engineering personally) are also highly fit and maintain themselves in a variety of areas of life besides just professionally!
Nice work anyway, I’m sure you learned long ago the only opinion that truly matters is your own anyway ![]()

well since we have an 18 and 19 i guess its fair i start a 21" arm thread?
try losing some fat and make a <20 thread, k?
Come on dude, that really sucked, say sorry and leave.
Damn your forearms are thick as hell, truly impressive stuff. And congratulations on closing in on 30 years in the iron game, that to me is even more of an achievement - the dedication that it’s taken is nothing to be scoffed at. I can’t speak for how many people on this site can keep up with you on your race to 21 - I know i certainly can’t - but I’ll be following this thread for sure. Good luck.
Oh snap! You’re a goshdarn animal! Wow man, seriously impressive. I think you’ll be the only contributor to this thread for a while, unless PX posts some pics.
Damn and I thought I was a somebody when I measured my arms today… Congrats man, you look solid
Just out of interest. What have you been taking?

Here we go again…

I feel no need to post pics even though I qualify. Listening to people half my size call me fat for not being in contest condition isn’t a life goal of mine. There are just way too many on this board who act like pricks to people they should be asking advice from and then shutting the hell up.
The youtube generation sucks.
Awesome job morepain ,
Too bad the 21 incher won’t post their pics (too many morons post crap here).
And Ill, he’s been taking more food than you and lift heavier than you do.

This is definitely true, and sometimes those without formal education or degree(s) display this intelligence. I think, which isn’t novel, the most common denominators are having a strong work ethic and consistency. To the OP, definitely great job!
I think we just need a T-Nation battle royal. It will be called “T-Nation Battle Royal!” so we could all just fight and get our jealously and anger out. We can have weight classes but they will be called “Size of Your GUNZ Classes”.
Then all the t-vixens can fight in pools full of chocolate pudding naked. To make sure they are women. Just saying.

While morepain has admitted to having “chemical experience” in his ‘Checking In’ thread (in case everyone wants to spend the next few pages dogpiling on Ill for his question - I’m SURE he knew that before posting his comment…), this really is what it comes down to at the end of the day.

OP-Congrats my friend, your results speak for themselves. Very impressive. Your longevity is inspiring.
To the morons who asked “What are you on?”, it’s pretty much irrelevant. Even IF one were to take tons of AAS (not judging, to each his own), you would still need to WORK YOUR ASS off and eat properly to achieve 21" arms.
I will never achieve 21" arms, not because I have some self-defeating complex, but because freaky size is not MY goal. I don’t have any problems/issues with people who pursue that goal. To each his/her own. I admire all people who show dedication in this game, as I admire a gymnast, an Olympic lifter, an MMA fighter, or a champion powerlifter. We can all learn something from each other. If you feel the need to rag on someone, rag on Richard Simmons or that Jared guy from Subway (a veggie sub with no protein is “health food”? don’t get me started).

right now 6’0" 265lbs thats about where i like to stay, been as high as 300lbs (bloated like a pig) and as low as 250 within the last year, but i like right about where i am. like i said the only real difference is i started lifting religiously when i was 12 or 13 and literally never stopped, i was obsessed with it as a child.
Damn, that’s awesome! It made me feel a little bit better to know that you’ve been lifting for 30 years . . . but only a bit. Although you’ve been bloated as you say at 300, would you think that was necessary to drop to 265 in the shape you are in during that full body pic? seems like theres always some point of discomfort for really large guys at least the first time they hit a weight. so in the end, you think it was worth it to get to your present condition? My answer would be yes but then again, I haven’t hit 300 (yet) so I don’t know what is involved specifically.
Awesome stuff MorePain…
Very impressive size and shape. : )
Very good work man
Hey prospa7, what do you call a lifter who tries to maintain contest shape all year round?
An ambulance.
