He did say that “…200 million people died from covid”, but over all did better than expected.
Well, yall have at it, I am not that interested in the debates, never have been. I have watched my share in life, but most of the time I don’t care about debates because it’s a show, it’s not real life. Nobody agrees on anything about the debate and everybody thinks their guy won regardless.
I actually wasn’t planning on watching this one, but I was compelled by outside forces… So enjoy!
They always have been a circus in a way. The trendy show off before the real decision making in office begins. It has just become so blatantly obvious. Don’t even try to get the votes with facts, but with insults and boasting?
Like I said, this is getting worse worldwide and can be a sign that democracy might have lived its short live again.
The vast majority of politics in the US is who can “said so” better.
It has almost nothing to do with ethics, standards, virtue, or policy.
Just angry slobs drunk with power bellowing at each other like walruses fighting over which rock to sleep on.
Hah! Laughed to the allegory.
Perhaps. Trump had some made up numbers too. 100 trillion as the cost for the green new deal for example, which is more than the World’s GDP.
Holy fuck, this “Presidential Debate” was some third world grade shit.
The missing percentage points refer to people who think Russia or China were the winners in this debate.
Biden is as articulated as Trump. What are the chances? Also, he could have grilled Trump about a fuckload of stuff like the way he dealt with COVID or the way all his businesses fail.
It’s like no one informed these two idiots they were doing this until 5 minutes before they went on the air. Total lack of preparation.
Why so much talk about The Rona last night? What can a President legally do about a virus?
Clearly he should’ve stopped it from being transmitted human to human … probably should’ve acted sooner too then no one would have died because that’s how that works … he should’ve also told every state to make sure every person stayed in their house until the creeping death passed by their houses … surely that would’ve worked …
In a serious note, the empty rhetoric tied to Covid critics and arm chair presidents (who oddly don’t seem to grasp federalism and the limitations of POTUS) had been tiresome for about 6 months now
I dunno. I thought he was a jack ass then but I was definitely in the minority.
I think a lot of that has to do with Hillary herself. I think many people saw her as arrogant, corrupt, entitled, and basically thought it was good to see her knocked down a peg. For that reason I don’t think the it had the impact.

Closer to Billy Madison
Quite a bit it turns out…
That’s my theory too.
Copy and paste what a President can do, and under what circumstances.

Oh, I think many of them grasp all of that pretty well. They are disappointed that he didn’t go way over the limits, because they wanted to first use his overstep to attack him prior to the election and then cite his overstep as allowing them to do anything they wanted once they assume power…but I certainly agree it has long been tiresome.
Agreed wholeheartly.
Not holding rallies during a pandemic would have been a good start.
Telling the truth about the pandemic instead of dismissing it’s severity would have been dandy too.
Closing the border to Chinese citizens but not the hundreds of thousands of American citizens that travelled to and from China - yeah I’m sure that helped.
Haha… no. I’m not going to spoon feed you because you’re too lazy to read and do some basic Google searches.
