About 3 weeks ago upon this new block/mesocycle. Upper body is good, and that’s where I changed all the movements. Lower body is beat up, and guess what, I didn’t change the squat variants. I’ve had issues with my hip flexors for a few years, super tight and weak. Every time I start sorting them I stop the dedicated work. I’m going to make sure I get it sorted this time.

I’ve got 11 workouts left, then will deload an entire week.

Ha, thanks. They’re still baby pythons, but at least they look big when I’m lean.

Been eating my face off. Really need to dial it in, frankly. I’m fluffier than I prefer. My wife decided to bake brownies at 9:30 pm last night for some reason. Warm brownies are probably my favorite dessert. We between my wife, 2 daughters and me, we ate the whole pan :joy:. Ugh! Got a workout and a bunch of yard work today though, not concerned!

That sounds great - I genuinely didn’t remember when your last deload had been, and you’ve gotta push for that fatigue to deserve the deload so sounds good - I think you’re right on track in that case. When I need a deload I start getting tired before workouts, and a couple days off will help me attack, but the fatigue comes back within a couple workouts. Your training has been on point in here dude.

Mo progress. Squats felt pretty damn good today. Hip flexors appreciated the paused knee raise warmups. I’m really coming to realize it’s a weakness thing, not a mobility thing.

I’ll be working from home until further notice, per corporate guidance. As long as no one gets sick here (we’re hunkered down) I’m planning for some serious gains, cause all I’ll be doing is eating, sleeping and training. Woot.

Working from home until further notice, at least March 30th now, but will be longer. Doubt kids go back to school this year. Crazy times. We are hunkered down. Don’t need my wife or youngest daughter getting Covid-19, both have either asthma or sensitive respiratory systems.

Been spending a lot of time researching and following the market and securities. The next two weeks are going to be full of action. The market is addictive right now. Like an action movie. Or, maybe a horror movie is a better reference.

I was strong as hell today. Could have moved a lot more weight, especially on squats. Hip felt pretty good too. I’ve been taking more rest days and it’s paying off. I hit it hard when I train, I need to keep forcing rest. Did a couple free front squats. Felt ok actually. Might be introducing paused free squats next cycle. We’ll see!

Thanks, I always look for that immediately too.

If the pins were set any lower, I’d start tucking. This is as low as I’ve got in me, for now. My legs are massive for my body, so it’s not like anymore depth would do anything magical. Hell, it may take away from muscle tension.
