Lions dump Reggie Bush. I saw a little speculation that the Patriots might rid themselves of Vereen’s more expensive contract and maybe take a swipe at Bush. I like Vereen and I don’t know if Reggie Bush can stay healthy enough for them but it’s not a terrible idea.
Reggie Bush, now his NFL career I would label as good, injury prone, had the benefit of playing on a high powered offense. When its all said in done, would you consider him a bust?

Nah- Jamarcus Russel, Vince Young, etc are busts. Reggie, while not as good as hoped, has had a pretty good career. He’s an excellent receiver out of the backfield. If you argue he was then would you also argue Mario Williams is/was as well since he hasn’t been as productive as thought and went #1?
So WTF did Bryant even do 4 years ago? He just owns some cars and then shows up with the chick who hadn’t been harmed. Looks like I’m abandoning my trust in Schefter too if this is it. The media is so beyond stupid now.

Ya, I’m either missing something or this is nothing at all.

In fairness to Schefter he only said he was aware of the tapes contents. Not whether they were good, bad or indifferent.

Kind of glad the Bills didn’t sign McCown. I thought it was a good idea until I realized just how old he is. Might be good for the Browns this year though.
I just saw a stat that Steven Jackson has never played on a team that finished above .500. Rough for a guy who was an elite player for a time. Kinda hope the Pats, Packers or Seahawks sign him. Guy has earned some success.
Kiko to the Eagles. Fuck sakes. When are these dumb fucks gonna throw themselves over those god damn falls and stop fucking up my football team. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

Not quite sure why your so upset, yes mccoy had a down year but is only 26, and Alonso is coming off a severe injury, its not like you traded alonso for Trent Richardson.

Agreed. Rex is no dummy with the defense man. Buffalo is a game manager QB away from a deep playoff run.
Alonso (going to the eagles) missed last season with an ACL tear, but as a rookie had 150ish tackles, 4 interceptions, and a couple of fumbles playing in the middle where he’s not really big enough to be. IIRC he also had an ACL tear in college, so might be a problem however he’s real good, and real young. Basically was the only thing Whaley has done right with his draft picks in 2 seasons (he’s the guy they got in the second round by trading down in the first 2 years ago to get Manuel). He is a fan favorite around here despite missing last year.
