The main issue I have with Ryan is his Blatant lies which makes me think he plays all jets as fools. Like a few years ago when the nfl players faced a lockout and half the jet roster were free agents Ryan went on to state that the Jets were super bowl caliber , Idiotic. Or when he actually had the gall to state that his secondary roster was very good because they have unproven and largely dissapointing Calvin prior and D Milner, there. The truth is great coaches are largely negative and never are satisfied with their teams production, Ryan always seems happy to point out the bright points of shirty play, or use stats that are meaningless to make points in his favor.
I could care less if he stays or goes
I agree with a lot of this. But, if I was a Jets fan, I would want him out. Rex Ryan to me is a great coach to bring on board if you have a team put together by someone who knows what they are doing, and has been beating them down. For an example, if Harbough leaves the 49ers and they hired Rex, I would put them as the Superbowl favorite. But, it would only stay like that for a year or two then it would start to collapse.
You take a coach like Garret. It has taken a while for his coaching to firmly get its roots and start to produce a product on the field that is expected around here. But his style of coaching is something that once it’s foundation starts to produce it will continue to produce until something happens. Like he starts to go crazy (Landry) or their is a major ego battle with Jerry (Jimmy) The Jimmy thing won’t happen, because Garret isn’t a physcho like Jimmy, and Jerry has learned from his mistakes.

Unless your a truly great coach all coaches acts will eventually wear thin, and a teams front office will generally hire the complete antithesis of its former coach. If you had a player friendly, easy going coach and the players start tuning him out and taking advantage well get ready for a no-nonsense strict disciplinarian and vice versa.

Right, that’s why if I was a Jets fan I would want Rex gone.

How about Gruden as the Jets new head coach? He wants to come back to coaching, and I don’t think he would take the Oakland job.
If he did come to New York yall might be out two draft picks. The one given up for Harvin, and the one Gruden uses to trade for Manziel.
LOL, He does love Manziel.
You boys be trippin’. Gruden ain’t leaving the box. Especially w/the extension he signed last yr. He also doesn’t wanna work w/Johnson after the all the Davis shit he dealt with.
Rex will be gone, & Dan Quinn will be the new head coach. Unless, & this is the monkey wrench, Idzik gets the ax too. Which I do not think will happen.

Idzik should get the ax too. I’m just throwing stuff out there though. Things I would be thinking about if I owned a football team stuck in limbo mode.

Gruden loves that kid, and he is excellent at developing qbs. I would be scared (being a Cowboys fan). Y’all wouldn’t have to give up a 1st rounder either. Because the Browns are idiots

That is the actual problem, the OWNER. He’s no better then Snyder, only less obvious w/his blunders.

The Caldwell fumble was really really close. I thought they should have left it as it was because it was so close you could barely tell in slow-mo and I am still not sure. I didn’t like the hold on the Weddle pick at all, bad call. Seems like there was a pretty bad pick that let DT catch one way down there that didn’t get called but those happen a lot so not as big a deal.

IMO, it was a fumble it was close but the ball started to come loose before he was down.

I have am inclined to agree with you and considering that was the call on the field then it def should have been left as is.
I think on the fumble his elbow hit the ground before the ball came out. It seemed obvious to me. His elbow jarred into the ground his whole arm vibrated from it and then the ball came out.

I don’t like either team at all btw.
It looked like the ball was moving well before his elbow came down, however, if you thought he still “had control” when the ball wasn’t out, just getting the nose pulled up then that’s the argument in the call.
I was wrong the ball was moving slightly when his elbow hit. But, his forearm was clearly down before. And the forearm is all that has to be down. Anyway I wouldn’t be complaining about that call if it happened to my 'Boys I think they made a good call in over turning the fumble call on the field. He was down
