Shit messed up the formatting of the last post lemme know your thoughts on these picks. My buddy thinks atlanta wins because of injuries on detroits squad and atlanta is playing for to keep their season alive.

If Bryce Brown does a decent job filling in for Fred Jackson, the only hope the Jets have is if Percy Harvin returns several kicks for touchdowns. I expect Buffalo to win a low scoring game at Met Life.

That’s a bit overstated when basically all the bills have is Sammy Watkins and Sammy Watkins. Despite the record they are on the same plane…I actually believe the jets have more offensively even before harvin.

Watkins has the potential to be a game breaker, but to be honest so far he’s still dropping balls he should catch (even though he makes up for it by catching a few that most couldn’t). He might not have Watkins game breaking potential, but Robert Woods is an extremely solid receiver, Marquise Goodwin is fast as shit (he was on the U.S. Olympic team), and Chris Hogan is decent as well.
The Bills have depth at wide receiver, and the Jets secondary is their weakness. I think that’s gonna be the mismatch of the game, as in most other places the teams are pretty even. The Jets run the ball well, but the Bills have one of the best run D’s in the league. If Geno has to throw, he’s gonna have a bad time. The Bills lead the league in sacks this year, even without Pettine’s blitz fetish, because the Bills secondary is quite good. He’s gonna get beat up, and picked off.
The Bills O line, is pretty bad, so I don’t think Orton’s gonna have much fun either, especially with Jackson out, but he’s not gonna throw as many picks, and when it comes right down to it I don’t think the Jets will be able to score more than 20 points today, and that’s where I put the hump for the Bills this year - if their opponents score less than 20, the Bills pretty much win. If their opponents score more than 20, they’re pretty much fucked. Hence if Percy has a big day on special teams the Jets win, otherwise they don’t.
On a side note, I’m looking forward to seeing Bryce Brown in action. Between Hacket’s raging case of downs, and Spillers lack of development the last 2 years, it’s pretty clear that one of them has to go, and being as this is a contract year for CJ I don’t think he’ll be back in blue and white next year - although if a team with a decent O line picks him up, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him run for a bazillion yards. With Fred Jackson getting up their in years, as solid a back as he is, Brown could very well be the starter next year.
Goodwin may not play and has not been A factor at all this season. Robert Woods is a decent receiver but is certainly not someone I fear. Watkins is the only player to fear on that offense. Bryce brown has not played all year and in a lot of ways is the rb version of Matt Flynn ( I.e 2 good games ) and has fumbling issues as well. The jets in spite of their record could easily have the same record as the bills or better. Other than the charger game they have played well. While Jace Amaro is not getting too much coverage he is becoming more and more effective. Eric decker even with being hobbled all year with a hamstring issue has been effective all year and should be as healthy as ever this game. I personally think the d line of the jets is going to kill orton and won’t have time to get the ball deep. I say the jets score over 20 and beat the bills by 7+

It’s nice to dream, isn’t it Matty? Until they get the QB & secondary straight, we won’t win another game. The problem is, Vick most likely won’t get 1st team reps & start next week. I’m not sure what else needs to be seen by Smith. He is NOT the qb of the future. Rex’s hands are tied due to Idzik. & Idzik is cuffed to Smith for now.
Right now I’m going w/a top 5 pick to get me thru the season.
BTW- What I did see (Redzone) Sheldon played an outstanding game.

Yep totally agree. The d-line played great. If the Jets just had an average qb and an average secondary this would be a good team, but they have the worst Secondary and worst QB. It really is a shame because a lot of those guys on the line (both lines really) played their hearts out.
I give the Bills secondary credit not for the interceptions because it seemed like Geno and Vick were throwing to them, but for the coverage, it was excellent.
Jets D all but nullified the Bills run game. I was a little nervous when they put in Vick. He’s a lot scarier than Geno. That said if I were a Jets fan, I’d be pulling for them to keep starting Geno this year - even if they win out 9 and 7 isn’t likely to put them in the playoffs this year. Might as well have the higher draft pick.
Game was a lot closer than the score would indicate. Glad Jackson will be back by the time they play the Jets again. Bills need him.

The higher draft pick for me 2ould be a top 5 pick. I’m kinda hoping they don’t win another game. The front 7 is stout, no doubt, but when you have wr’s playing corner, shit gonna hit the fan.
The other thing that comes into play here is Idzik. If he is kept, it’ll be interesting to see if he doesn’t toss something Seattle’s way for Lynch. Stories came out yesterday that they will not be keeping him past this yr & had not the other tailback gotten hurt, he’d been gone by now. Quite the disruptive force I read.

Word up here seems to be that Lynch soured a lot of the coaching staff and management by holding out during training camp and that he’s just not with the program any more. My personal feeling on backs is, the o-line line makes or breaks most of them. When Seattle re-signed Alexander but not two of its best up front, Alexander didn’t do shit ever again. Some say he “fell off drastically,” I say he fell off mostly because he no longer had a dominant line to run behind. I think Seattle has learned that lesson. Lynch is a very good, tough back; but I don’t think management views him as an essential ingredient to getting back to the super bowl.
I wanna agree w/you Jack, but I think at this time & no real long ball threats at the wr position, they’d lean on Lynch more then ever. Or at least until Wilson gets into a rhythm w/his new receivers.

Things seem in disarray up here. I’m frankly not sure how management views this season. We lost the ability to platoon the d-line like we did last year both by opposition scheming and the loss of depth at the d-line and the offense also sucks. Maybe they right the ship this year but IDK. I sure don’t see a Superbowl return the way things are at the moment.

@ Matty…
Skins are going to win tonight. Demarco Murray is going to get injured and the underwear thief will come in. Dez will still go off b/c our secondary can not stop my 2yr old.
2/3 of these things I actually believe.

I think I gave you a tough loss in fantasy this week… Sorry man.

Haha. Yea… I thought I definitely had that. It was actually the same kind of bad break in 3 of my leagues 2 of which came down to me praying for something better out of Graham. Certainly hasn’t been worth a 1st rounder at this point…

I am up by 9.65 with the current second highest score out league has ever seen, and the team I am playing still has Dez. Any chance Dez is held to under 10 in fantasy tonight?

I believe one thing, you will hear the Cowboys fans tonight in that stadium.

Well you got one thing right, the Skins won.
