Redskins left me in a daze. Honestly, run game looked good, defense looked good, and special teams looked at least remotely better until the blocked punt and blocked XP. Even the passing game was ok as the receivers were running well but RG3 just looked like he was all over the place and not comfortable at all. He took too long to get rid of the ball and just seemed sloppy. Every play was a scramble to throw. I was really hoping we would come out and light it up like we did against NO in his first year. I am a little concerned the Redskins organization may have broken the poor kid but I’m hoping we can get it squared away. That would have been a decent game if it weren’t for shitty ball control.

Let me preface that I do not condone hitting a female unless absolutely necessary, and firmly believe that Rice should be punished for what he did and it was a heinous act.
Lets say hypothetically and everything leading up to this point pointed to the idea that Rice was a good guy and a good person. Does this negate everything now, does he get a second chance? Does he deserve a second chance?
As much as I am playing devils advocate here I do believe that Rice should be allowed to play football again, not this year but I do not believe he should be banned for life or something to that effect. Especially with the amount of degenerates and criminals that are allowed to play football, it would be hypocritical…
I would let him play again but the speed at which he escalated the altercation to physical violence is as shocking as the act itself. I would be reluctant to hit a male friend like that even if they antagonized me greatly. His casual attitude towards the act and her prone body afterward is pretty chilling and could indicate that this type of act is not totally alien to him.
