Derek, what’s the deal with Orton? He good enough to get the Bills some wins when manuel gets hurt and / or benched?

If that was a flag, then this certainly should have been.
Edit: Look at the receiver cracking down on the safety coming in.
I don’t think this should get a flag, but the Welker hit shouldn’t have either, or the Meriweather hit. It is garbage rules and horrendous officiating. I am a huge Manning fan but the fact that they changed the rules because DT and Decker couldn’t figure out how to get physical with corners in the Superbowl is absolute crap.
I’m not saying the hit was bad. There’s a lot of flags get thrown in the nfl that I don’t think should be - including the taunt from Manning. Accidental or not, those are his guys and he’s gotta have their backs.

Journeyman through and through. Look up the Cowboys last game of the season last year to see what you have in Orton.

I’m also not sure about GB. The defense aside, I’m not convinced Lacy will be the awesome back every one seems to think he’ll be. Dude is a beast, no doubt, but GB hasn’t exactly had the best luck at running back.
I Feel the exact same way about Lacy, I was also shocked to see him as one of the top backs in my FF draft.
I get that you guys are basing this on “feel” (whatever that is)
Because if you’re just looking at the dude (legit size, physicality for pro game) and situation (every-down back in balanced offense) objectively, there just isn’t a whole lot to dislike.
Understandable but I still feel nervous drafting him in the 1st round and will avoid him in every league. If he falls to me somehow in the 2nd, then ok.

I believe Lacy is a legit talent real deal RB and the most NFL capable back to come out of Bama in recent memory, but fantasy is a different story because I don’t think he will get as many chances to showcase it with Rodgers healthy this year.

Half million fine and six game suspension for Colt’s owner today for driving under the influence. That shits gotta sting.
And Watt got paid today. Texans are getting more for their money than the Bills are paying for Mario Williams. Good for them.

drop in the bucket to an owner of a NFL franchise, and it was only to appease the players/public. If i was Irsay i’d cut another $500k check to local charity just as a “fuck you, im rich” to the league.
Welker Dick
4 games for amphetamines used as a “performance enhancer” during the off season seems like a bit much. I get testing in May for AAS, but it’s not like cycling on to speed in May is gonna help you in September. He’s gonna miss some big games too.

It will not have much of an impact on the Broncos really. With their style offense they can plug and play. There will be a little drop off sure, but it will be slight. Definitely kicking myself for letting Sanders slip through my fingers now though.
Quick question: For non-tnation fantasy football bitching, moaning and general league advice should I start a new thread, put it here, or put it in the T-Nation league thread?
Sucks for the Donkeys.

He will be good especially playing with Aaron Rodgers, I’m just not ready to go top 5.
Also I think Welker getting suspended will actually benefit Denver in the long run.
