I’m also not sure about GB. The defense aside, I’m not convinced Lacy will be the awesome back every one seems to think he’ll be. Dude is a beast, no doubt, but GB hasn’t exactly had the best luck at running back.

I think we’re gonna see a repeat to be honest. At least on the NFC side. Sorry DB!
I dont know the odds are in that favor, but there are just no more repeats.
Some dark horse will come out. Could be GB if they fix the defensive issues.
Ya I know the odds aren’t there, but they didn’t get worse after the SB like a lot of teams. At least from what I’ve heard I’m not a Seattle fan.
I know you are a Raven fan.
As a Cowboys fan I love how Seattle is set up, I would give my left nut to have that kind of squad. There is just something about the NFL now that you just do not see the repeats.
Baltimore I believe can give Denver a run this year also. They fixed that OL and we should see Rice (after suspension) see a come back.

I definitely think the Ravens have a legitimate shot at a SB run. I think this will be a breakout year for Flacco under the new offense and Smith (Torrey) with the addition of Smith Sr. I also think Rice will return to form. I think he’ll have around 1,600 all purpose yards this year even missing the 2 games.
The Ravens biggest concern is the injuries at CB. I’m a big fan of Ladarius Webb and I think Jimmy Smith could be an outstanding CB, but both are hurt. Depth is an issue. Everyone around here hopes the 7 or so million in cap space is used to get a CB.

Rookie Middle LB looks great I have heard. Have not seen him play yet, those are big shoes to fill.
It would suck knowing this was going to happen over the next few days if you were a young player on the bubble.

CJ Mosely has looked solid in pre-season. They’ve got a lot of young talent. I really like the young backs (Juszczyk, Toussaint, and Taliaferro). Especially Juszczyk. I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of teams this year.
Toussaint and Taliaferro ran for 200+ yards last night. I think at least 1 of them will get cut though.

Interesting thoughts on Carr
Plus the law firm was let go by Bengals back to the Pats?
Damn, I picked Watkins in Fantasy. I was hoping he’d be a surprise hit this year.

Should make Gio Bernard a much better RB. Who is his backup though? Don’t know if he is a 3 down back…

Jeremy Hill, the bruiser rookie from LSU. His preseason play is the main reason law firm was let go. And he also has me concerned he is going to TD rob Gio for fantasy. Hill has all the makings of a very good player though, and is more of an every down back than Gio, but I hope his elbow situation last night is not big deal.
Michael Sam gets cut from the Rams.

Apparently the Rams are stacked at that position and they say Sam can’t play special teams. If you aren’t a starter and you can’t play special teams, what good are you? I’m sure some team will pick him up.

Is anyone actually that surprised by this? He made some plays in the preseason, but with the Rams depth there, he knew it was an uphill battle.

Cue the gay rage protests … Love how a late 7th round pick getting cut warrants an ESPN banner all evening
The question is, will the gay mafia come out against the NFL ?

I Feel the exact same way about Lacy, I was also shocked to see him as one of the top backs in my FF draft.

I get that you guys are basing this on “feel” (whatever that is)
Because if you’re just looking at the dude (legit size, physicality for pro game) and situation (every-down back in balanced offense) objectively, there just isn’t a whole lot to dislike.
I Could also see GB in the SB but I think its a long shot, although I would put them over SF right now but I don’t think they are in the same league as SEA.

That’s very true and if he turns out to be a legit back in the league then I could see GB facing SEATTLE in the NFC champ game.
